“We just moved into Legacy Oaks Apartments about a week ago, so this is an early impression—but our move-in experience has been great so far.

The manager, Grace, was amazing. She truly listened to our situation and went out of her way to help us. From the moment we were approved, communication was excellent with clear, helpful emails. Grace and Christiana have both been professional, kind, and very responsive.

At move-in, we were welcomed with a thoughtful basket (toilet paper, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dishwasher detergent), which was incredibly helpful and appreciated. They also had a packet with information about the community. Even my daughter, who works in property management, was impressed.

The community itself is clean, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped. They clearly take pride in the property and host fun resident events—we already attended a St. Patrick’s Day breakfast with themed treats for the residents, which was a nice touch. The playground is also great for families.

Our apartment is clean, cozy, and we love the vaulted ceilings in the upstairs unit—it makes the space feel open. The stairs are manageable as well, which is important for me with a bad back. My son made friends his very first day and a neighbor offered to help us move our bed upstairs when we were having issues, which says a lot about the community.

While it’s nice that they are pet-friendly, have no size or breed restrictions, and have plenty of waste stations, some residents don’t clean up after their pets. This has been the only downside so far. We were very excited about the dog park. But all of the dog waste left behind from people who don’t pick up after their pets, makes it unpleasant to use.

Overall, we’re very happy here so far and look forward to settling in more. I’ll update after we’ve been here a few more months.”

“Honestly we have had five different managers since we moved in a year ago, most have mixed feelings about this property. We know, we pay our rent and stuff gets fixed when needed. We are not speaking for anyone else. But know. It's cheap compared to other apartments. You get what you pay for. We are blessed with what we have and they leave us alone as long as we pay rent and abide by the rules. Maintenance man is awesome, and to us that's what counts. Dog and pet friendly. Pay your rent abide by the rules and bam you live somewhere where they leave you alone. No mold, no bugs, no rats. Done deal.”

“We have lived at Creekside Meadows for six years. Our family grew and we needed to move to a larger place. We treated our apartment like our home and found our manager, Sandra, to be very responsible and an extremely likable person. We decided to stay at Creekside not only because of proximity to work and school, but because we were treated with great courtesy, respect and kindness by Sandra. Rarely have I ever heard a property manager say “I want to see your family comfortable and happy living at Creekside. She has always responded to our needs and makes every effort to assure tenants that they follow the rules of the lease for the benefit of the entire complex. We hope Sandra will continue to manage at Creekside and hope that other tenants and those at SMI realize the value of her commitment to making Creekside a nice livable community.”
