The Monmouth / Independence Family YMCA is appreciated for its friendly staff and less busy atmosphere compared to other locations. Members find the prices to be pretty decent. However, there are suggestions for improvements, such as adding A/C or better airflow, and frosted windows for privacy, especially during early hours when lines for the food bank are visible. Parking can be limited during afternoons and evenings, and some members feel uncomfortable with the presence of strangers watching from outside. On a positive note, staff members are helpful and caring; one staff member notably waited in her car for a late-night ride, showing kindness and concern for members' safety.
I love the new gym. It's simple, but has everything I need. Hardly ever crowded during the day.

Awesome staff and I love that this location is less busy than Salem. It definitely needs some A/C or more air flow though. Also, it would be awesome if the front window was frosted and/or if there was a reserved parking space for Y members as there is rarely any parking during afternoon/evening hours.
