I am absolutely obsessed with their toffee. I’m sensitive to sugar and dairy and magically never get a headache after eating (undisclosed amounts) of the almond toffee with milk chocolate. Top quality ingredients. Thank you for sharing your family recipe!

Amazing chocolates and the only reason I am rating it 4 stars is that the owner assumed that all Oreo cookies are gluten free: so she said that the cookies and creme truffles were gluten free. I corrected her as I Oreo makes a gluten free version which I have bought due to high sensitivity to gluten. It would have been eat now and suffer later for me. And for celiac, her misinformation would have caused organ damage.

This place has awesome chocolates and I am a connoisseur of chocolate among other things. Every item that I bought and I paid $39 for my purchase here, was superb! The apricot jam and the chocolates were the best ever. The reason I cannot give this place a five star rating is that the owner thought that the cookies and cream truffles were gluten free as she said that Oreo's are naturally gluten free. I corrected her as they are not and the company makes a special gluten free version. I have to be careful about gluten as I am highly sensitive to it. So, if someone with Celiac disease depended upon her take on this, they would have suffered organ damage and I would have been up all night, sicker than a dog.

Such a sweet little shop (pun intended), I took my daughter they were super nice. After we selected a few items she went to ring us up and their system was down, so we left to get cash and a young lady ran out to give my little girl a princess cookie for free. We came back and got our sweets and everything was super tasty, will definitely stop by again if I'm passing through.

Do not sleep on this place! This wonderful shop is in the middle of the sweet town of independence. Enjoy free samples of toffee which will melt in your mouth! The jalapeño one is amazingly great. Their truffles not only look like a work of art but taste like Heaven. Everyone that works there are super friendly and lovely to talk with. My new go to place for chocolate!

Great local chocolate/ treat shop. We got the hazelnut toffee, cinnamon pecan toffee as well as a few truffles and omg they are so good. Highly reccomend if your passing through Indepence/Monmouth it's only a little bit off the highway and it is worth it

This is our go-to pace for a yummy treat. They are always super friendly and my remembered my 17 month old daughter from meeting her once months ago. We love all of the different offerings and the toffee is TO.DIE.FOR.

That girl was so great and not overbearing or fake happy to help. Offered samples (not of truffles, for some weird reason /s). I only wish they had little fortune cookie tags to put in the boxes or somehow attach to the truffles so you know which one you got once you get home. These things are EXCELLENT.

Such a cute shop in a very cute town. I loved the staff, they were very helpful when I was picking out my chocolate. The chocolate was amazing, and I definitely plan on coming back again.

While these place is so adorable and historical and has a charming feel to it, we unfortunately were let down by the candies. We bought 6 pieces chocolate and 2 hot cocoa bombs for $35? Each chocolate did have a funny taste afterward but we did enjoy the Peanutbutter Chocolate Cup quite a bit! We were so excited to get home and try them but they just didn’t hit the bar! We will try again, maybe it was an off day but next time, we will not be buying 6 pieces but 1 each.
