I want to leave a review to be helpful to people who would be misled by the perfect 5 star rating. To the locals who love this place and gave 5 stars, good for you supporting local business. Now on to the helpful bit. This is not a winery. It is a vineyard, that’s about it. It’s counter service which was apparently implied but not clearly communicated as we were told to take a seat wherever. After sitting at a table for 5-10 minutes we realized, he wasn’t coming to our table. The guy behind the counter does not explain anything about the wines. He says you can pick any 4 and if you ask for recommendations, he points and taps his finger on the menu. You make your selections and go back to your seat. He brings you a board with 4 shot glasses containing wine and some wine glasses. He tells you left to right matches the card you filled out. You pour the shot glasses into your wine glass, take a sip, and quickly pour the wine back in the shot glass. The whites are sweet and not complex. The red blend was ok, but the single varietal was flavorless. We had no idea if the wines were opened that day or if the rubber stopper had been in the bottle for weeks. I don’t want to discourage anyone from trying this place or daisy creek wines, I just want you to know this is not a 5 star wine tasting experience. It is as close to a 1 star wine tasting experience as I have had, so I think the rating is fair. I hope this helps people make the right decision when looking for somewhere to spend their anniversary or plan a wine tasting trip. I also hope this helps the business improve the tasting experience and hopefully sell more of their wine.

The service and the atmosphere were excellent. I so much wanted to like their wine more than I did because of these two things. The wine was ok. It was comparable to $15-20 wine at the store.

Apparently, this winery doesn't want new customers. I liked their wine before I ever went there and was excited to visit the tasting room. My friend and I had two different flights in addition to two individual glasses of wine and a charcuterie plate. I wanted to buy some wine to take home, and when my friend went to buy it for me they didn't give her the member price in spite of all we had just bought. Needless to say they don't seem to want to engender goodwill, or have a clue about customer service at all. I have since talked to other wineries and wine makers about this because it was such an irritating experience. Everyone agrees this was a big mistake on their part, so i am happy to tell the story about their pettiness. So even if you are with a member and you are buying wine, they won't give you the member price. Is that any way to attract new members and keep existing ones?

A nice, intimate setting, nestled just on the fringes of Jacksonville, a bit hidden... but a gem. We love their wines and atmosphere, became members, and enjoy their patio during good weather with live music and food trucks (pizza on Sundays, and other food/music usually Friday nights). They recently opened a new indoor tasting room on site a few weeks ago, and it's very open and welcoming. Gary is the greatest, he always says hi when we walk in, super friendly and easy to talk to. So glad we can come during winter now!

This is a casual laid back patio winery close to the vines! Wonderful music accompanies the experience along with food trucks Friday through Sunday. All wines are from estate grown grapes. Most are Rhone variates.

If there is a better selection of Wines anywhere else in the Southern Oregon wine Region I would say you will have a hard time finding one that compares to Daisy Creek! Neighborhood Winery that was just what we were looking for!

My Favorite in the Rogue Valley because of the owners, incredible wine and the amazing staff! The Vineyard backs my property and unlike "the woman" who complained about the vineyard being so close to her home, this makes it, ever more special for us!! Russ and Margaret are brilliant wine makers who we now consider part of our family...Salute'

What an amazing experience! Julie was phenomenal and made all TEN of us girls feel welcomed. I will now make a point to come back here next time I am in town because the views, service, and wine was delicious!
