Our room was very welcoming and warm, fabulous bedding, ambiance and location. The Innkeeper during our stay was very knowledgeable in the history of the Inn and was a joy to converse with.

We have stayed at the MaCully how's several times over the years and we have always enjoyed it. The one thing that could always be better is the cleanliness of commonly touched things always seem to be dirty like the remote switches and that sort of thing where it needs to have a little bit more attention. This trip everything seemed to be pretty clean until we decided to get into bed. My wife pulled back the sheets on her side and she found a bug, what appeared to be fecal matter stained from almost the pillow down to where your butt would be all recent and chunky on the sheets. I pulled back my side and found up a balled up sticker. I immediately called up the after hours number and I had plightly asked if it was possible that somehow it got missed in the cleaning and the lady assured us 100% that she was in the room when the sheets were changed and that was not possible. She told me she'd be there within 5 minutes which he was and once she got there and took a look at everything and I asked her again how this happened when you're in the room and then she backtracks and says well she wasn't in the room she was in another part of the inn. She asked if she could just change the sheets and I said no we were thoroughly disgusted. This was our anniversary weekend and I was so pissed and disgusted we just left. They did refund our money right then and there but I was really disappointed that the owner or manager or somebody would have called to at least try to give us an explanation or something as this is 100% unacceptable and there's zero excuses for this sort of thing. We had a late check in and used the key box so they knew we were going to be late so there was absolutely no excuses why they could have done a good job cleaning the bed. I waited that day and today to see if they would reach out to me but since obviously no one cares I'm providing this review for others to see what kind of quality service they have.

I’m pretty good at finding great places to stay and reading between the lines of other reviews. This place exceeded my expectations as the owner asked her staff to upgrade us free of charge to a larger room with a fireplace as it was available. Lucky us! The hostess was absolutely adorable and I had to hold myself back from hugging her. The room was impeccably clean, the sheets were soft as, and the bed was soooo comfortable! It was hard to walk out the door even to saunter across the street to the best coffee in the USA. If you ever come to Jacksonville and this place isn’t full…book it!

We booked 2 immaculate, incredible rooms right after thanksgiving. We enjoyed the convenience of being able to walk everywhere we were interested in visiting. New owners have completed a great high end period remodel. I cannot wait till and will be back for, when the restaurant and bar remodel is complete and open. We were checked in by HANNA, A LOVELY lady who had great ideas on what to see, shop and delish eateries. The open 24 hour, self serve breakfast/ snack room was stocked with local, some organic, high end eats and coffee. We were impressed!

Great location just outside of Medford. Quite little town with historic feel. Management very accommodating and friendly. Room was very comfortable and met our expectations. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go back again.
