“Contact Us” option on website is useless. Calling direct just puts you on the phone with a snotty employee with the customer service sale skills of a Subway employee. Will update once the part is delivered to see if their manufacturing is as good as their customer service. So far from business to business, I would avoid in the future.

AM Equipment sells the wiper unit for Crestliner Commander boats so it would seem that it would be very easy to order one. However, I called to order one for my boat and they wouldn’t assist me, instead they told me to go to their website and read through the Technical Library. I had no idea that ordering a simple part could be so difficult. I’ll have to order my wiper system from someone else who will assist me.

The engineering team (Rafael and Tammy) were extremely helpful in getting me the replacement wiper motor I needed for my boat. In fact, the manufacturer had the drawing backwards and the engineering team from AM figured out I needed a different one than the manufacturer was stating. Beyond that, the wiper motor that I ordered only worked for a day, then quit. AM was quick to get me a free warranty replacement with expedited shipping. They followed up to ensure I was satisfied with the replacement and that it worked. Awesome people to work with!

I ordered a switch online from them and immediately got a confirmation email. A week later with no update from them, I called to find out when and if my order was to ship, only to be told the part was out of stock but would be there a few days later. A few days later they sent me an email without the company name on it which I put in the trash not recognizing it as "not spam". I called again a week or so later and got voice mail and left a message. No reply so I sent an email. The next day I received an email from a women with an order number. It was AM Equipment, telling me that now my part wouldn't be in for a month, and that they had emailed me before with another part which might work. I emailed back asking for the part. No reply for 24 more hours so I canceled the order. Almost 3 weeks wasted! I'm normally very patient with companies and people, especially now during the pandemic, but I would rate their customer service as very poor when it comes to online ordering. Who sends out company emails with the employees name rather than the company name? Oh well, they seemed like nice people, I hope they get this figured out so another customer is not frustrated and a project held up for three weeks......
