I was stuck in town after a problem with my box truck. Local auto shop was till closed and walked in here looking for a solution.
As is the norm for small towns, the hardware guy knows all the people and who can do what. He had what I needed to bandaid the problem but pointed me to who could fix it at that ungodly early hour.
Awesome people, good dog. Great stuff.

If you ever need help, just go to Joseph Hardware, walk inside, and look helpless. I was in town for a week when my wheelchair broke. The guys at the marina suggested that with the large supply of hardware items, Jo. Hard. might be able to help. So I walked in, and Dennis and I setup an outpost in the hex nuts section. He never quit on me nor my wheelchair. Now without doubt I believe all the area hardware stores are awesome with capable and helpful folks. But one thing fer sure, they don't have Dennis. He also made sure I purchased spare parts, the tools, and a Joseph Hardware t-shirt.

Chockful of all basic hardware supplies and equipment. Lots of fun finds, including toys and seasonal items. Clean, clear signage, well-lit and organized. Well-trained, knowledgeable, courteous staff. A breeze to shop and entertaining to browse.

We were camping at Wallowa Lake and needed parts and a special tool to fix a leak in the plumbing of our trailer. The employees at Joseph's Hardware were incredible. They helped us find a solution and rented the tool to us. They saved our trip. Top notch, old fashioned customer service. So hard to find, but so appreciated.

Very friendly staff and vibe. Always helpful and I've never had to go looking for someone to help me find what I need and 9 times out of 10 they have what I need or are able to point me to another place that would have it.First choice when I'm in Joseph.
