“This place is so wonderful!! it is the absolute best place to stay in Joseph. Missy and Eric are wonderful, the breakfast was excellent, the location is perfect, the rooms and beds are fantastic. The entire place is homey and welcoming. The friends I was with adored Joseph, but want to go back next year mostly because of this bed-and-breakfast. Highly recommend!!”

“We did not stay at the lodge (we are locals) but did meet friends there in the bar area for drinks and for the bar menu. The service was excellent and the food and drinks were good and were delivered in a timely manner. We have eaten in the bar area before and an improvement would be perhaps a couple more tables inside that can be reserved (you are not able to make reservations for the bar area and we did not want to sit outside nor eat in the restaurant) and we sure miss the pulled-pork nachos.”

“Location was great! We could walk to almost everything we wanted in Joseph. Quiet, recently updated and very clean. Good fridge, airco and water pressure. Rooms were a little small but more than adequate for a short stay. The beds were very comfortable and nice pillows and bedding. We were lucky that staff was still on premises when we arrived, would have been a bit lost otherwise. Plenty of parking. The only downsides were regarding the bathroom situation. Sinks were made for children, very, very low. I am 5'7" and my back couldn't take the bending to brush teeth, etc. I don't know how a 6' or taller person could have managed. The shower was roomy and fantastic water pressure (!) but the door to get into it was only 20" wide. We didn't need it, but there should have been a grab bar in the shower for safety. I would definitely stay again, but not with a heavy person, as that shower entrance was tight.”
