“I had my 1100 barrel modified here. Low overhead, no bells or whistles here, just fast, fair priced, and impeccable old school service. Dave is friendly, honest, professional and very interesting. The phrase "if you love what you do, you will never work a day in your life" must apply to him.”
“I hope this review helps someone else like me find their way into Armac because their customer service is rare in the industry and their expertise is incomparable. You will be acknowledged, never condescended to, and you’ll leave with solutions or at least feeling like Armac is solidly in your corner. Go inside and talk with someone!
I had an issue with the hardware that came with a transfer. It was my first purchase and I was incredibly intimidated because I don’t know the lingo or the acronyms, and I had never been through the process. Two employees helped me. They made me feel like I was the center of their world and we would stop at nothing to make the transfer happen. While I was in the shop, I watched their interactions with some other customers. One person had a language barrier, and the other person was exuberant and wanted to touch and try and test all the equipment in the cases. Both employees were patient and friendly with these customers. When the customer with the language barrier left, the other customer made a snide and somewhat racial remark. The Armac employee did not engage and professionally redirected the conversation. I felt safe in the store after that experience, knowing that the Armac employees treat their customers respectfully even when they’re out of earshot.
Finally, Armac resolved my transfer and hardware issue, not only without charging me, but I believe they sensed my anxiety (however unfounded) and gave me a credit (and two coffee coupons!) to help smooth the rough edges caused by the situation with the other gun store. Thank you, Armac. I look forward to working with you and recommending your services for years and years.”
