Went in to see about selling my kayaks and the young kid needs to learn some manners about how to talk to people! Doesn’t know how to explain anything to customers correctly and I caught him contradicting himself. After all was said and done they said very mean things in regards to not wanting the items and then they wonder why people don’t like going to pawn shops.

We have gone to Dan’s a few times now and Garret has been a great help every time. He’s very knowledgeable and has helped us pick out exactly what we needed. We love that it is a local small business but has great inventory. Highly recommend!

I have been going to this place since 1998 & they may be a little bit piticular about the items you bring in but over all I am satisfied with every transaction I have made with them.

Discovered a vintage shotgun and despite the OR 114 stupidity the owner and manager helped arrange the sale and shipping to my local FFL. Friendly, engaging, will stop in again next time I’m “home”. Appreciate everything you did, guys, many thx!!

I'm in here all the time all of the stuff is wonderful friendly I could literally stand around and bs for 30 minutes not get bored they don't have a problem helping out once they get to know you they definitely go above and beyond highly recommend this place over any other pawn shop in Salem

In my business its always nice to know I can go in and get a loan on some tools or jewelry in case I'm short. The staff is straight forward and gives good prices on loans and purchases. They have a nice selection of tools and firearms as well.

Not a very good pawn shop. Inventory is bleak to say the least and customer service doesn't seem that important to the old-timers. You can't pawn anything to them but stolen tools, lawn equipment, guns, and bikes. If you are in need of a pawn shop I'd look else where.
