Slowly moving my personal and business accounts from large national bank to WVB, a local bank. Because of experiences with another local bank decades ago, I'd always thought local banks were stuffy places for "old money", but Willamette staff are top-notch, friendly and knowledgable.

I love this bank! We use them for personal and business banking, and their service is top notch. Jane, the manager is always so helpful, as are all the staff, even after hours and on weekends. They love local!

They will definitely put small businesses out of business you never now how long it takes for a check to clear could be there same day other times it's 4-5 days and they say there's no hold on check's under a certain amount but I personally have had every check held regardless of amount and have even had cash deposits held they are not for small businesses that need there money to keep going everyday we don't make them enough money from our money just sitting in there bank like big business

Jane and all employees at WVB are so friendly, helpful and professional. They even called me personally when I made an error doing a mobile deposit and took care of it immediately so there was no delay in my deposit.

The branch staff actually answer their own phones within a couple of rings! SO refreshing to speak to a human being instead of a recording! My experience inside the branch has been exceptional. They remember me and call me by name when I walk in AND they actually have enough staff so that I don't have to wait in a line forever to be helped. LOVE IT! Extremely happy with the bank products and the customer service!

Offering CDs thru Schwab. CD was to mature on 1/28/2021, still haven't paid the maturity as of 2/1/2021. I would NOT do business with a bank that can't pay their certificates of deposit on time and suggest others avoid as well.

I can't say enough about this bank and the people who work there. I used to bank at Chase but four years ago I went to Chase to start up a business account only to be told there were no bankers available. They wanted me to set up an appointment with a banker on Thursday of the following week. I drove down the street to Willamette Valley Bank and the people were so friendly and welcoming. They sat me down went over all the options for a business account with me and I handed over $17,000 dollars to start up my business checking account. Best move I ever made. Since then I have canceled my chase accounts and opened up two more accounts with Willamette Valley Bank. Today they helped me out when a certain financial institution messed up and took too much money out of my account for an automated payment. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, the day I started up my business account, I didn't realize until after that they were closed the whole time I was in there. I walked in just before 5:00 pm not really thinking much about it because I was used to Chase closing at 6:00 pm. They stayed open just for me to help me get my account started. I give these people a five star rating only because there was no 100 star option. I highly recommend this bank to everyone.

Not knowing how the whole buying a house process works, I was super excited when my husband and I got our pre-approval letter pretty quickly after applying for a mortgage. After paying over $1000 for the appraisal and the inspection of the home, the loan officer, who we still hadn't heard from 2 months later, finally got back to my husband after texts and calls to find out the status of the loan to tell us that the underwriters had denied our application, 30 days before the closing date!! Erick told my husband he was going to speak to his manager and see what he could do to assist us in getting the loan approved. He didnt even have the decency to call my husband back to let him know that the denial was going to stand. Instead we just got a letter in the mail a week later. He clearly did not do his job as a loan officer efficiently and just glanced over our credit rather than to really evaluate whether the underwriter would approve it or not. $1000 and 2 months wasted!!! So disgusted with unprofessionalism

Sorry, but this bank has no cyber crime security system. Best to put your money in a bank with a safer system in place. They're not going to tell you about their lack of security though, DON'T TRUST THIS BANK!!! The employees are uninformed paper shufflers. They were very friendly, very nice women, but they told me that anyone with your social security number can access all of your checking, savings and safety deposit box. NO SECOND VERIFICATION SYSTEM!!!!

I have been banking at Willamette Valley Bank in Keizer and downtown for many years. I switched to them because the big national banks were simply terrible. Willamette Valley Bank employees have always been extremely friendly and helpful. They call me with wire transfers arrive, help me when I have questions and have provided business loans and lines of credit when I needed. Not only that, they even helped me like they were a business partner, not like I was just another number. Scott Erickson

Great bank, super clean inside and out, amazing staff, little to no lines, and they offer home loans too!
