Nice resort. As expected, a little overpriced for payable amenities.

Spent the weekend with my wife at the resort. We golfed and relaxed and ate and had a really nice visit. Morgan behind the bar was excellent, and so was Daniel, our server. I wish there would have been more vegetarian and or vegan options. It would have made the dining experience even better for my wife.
Rooms: Very clean. Big, lots of options for your stay. You can bring your own food and cook there. There is a fridge and stove and microwave and a BBQ on the deck. Most of the utensils you might need are there as well.
Nearby activities: Golf, equestrian, swimming, hiking, trail walking
Safety: I felt very safe while there. Nothing to be afraid of. Sidewalks and trails were clean.
Walkability: There are 8 miles of trails. Lots of folk were talking about how nice they were.
Food and drinks: Great food and drinks. There needs to be more vegan/vegetarian dishes.
Noteworthy details: It is absolutely beautiful. The sunrises are excellent and the sky at sunset is on fire. We walked from our room to the main building for drinks one night. So quiet and relaxing and safe.

Pretty tranquil with lovely rooms. Cannot rate service as I didn't use or interact. But I'm guessing it is a good as the rest of the amenities and excellent quality.

This was our second stay at the Running Y, in 2019 we stayed one night and selected it for a 5 day stay on this trip as we enjoyed it so much that last trip.
We were not let down. in the Ruddy Duck, the bar staff was amazing and made sure dinner each night was a wonderful experience

Running Y Resort and the Ruddy Duck Restaurant are wonderful jewels in southern central Oregon.
Nestled near Klamath Falls Oregon along Klamath Lake, the resort has miles of hiking and biking trails, a world class golf course, playgrounds, spa, upscale resort hotel, and a variety of shops.
The resort is near the entrance to Oregon's Crater Lake, a must see National Park a short drive from the resort.
Do yourself a favor and check out Running Y Ranch, you will not be disappointed!

These were the most comfortable beds and we slept like babies! The kids loved the large pool and we enjoyed the gym in the morning. Our kids were able to ride there bikes around the property and we felt secure letting them utilize the playground and beach volleyball court since this properly is very safe. All the staff was friendly and the rooms had everything we needed. The one negative: you have to pay for WiFi! We couldn’t believe it: get with the times and quit charging guests for WiFi. We visited 3 other Worldmark properties on this trip and all of them now offer free WiFi: this place needs to catch up. I had to subtract a star since it affected our communication and our plans because we did not want to pay for the (extremely overpriced) internet and our cellphone providers did not have service at this resort due to remote location.

Beautiful resort with tons of options. From rooms at the lodge to vacation rentals. Activities galore. Horse back riding, hiking, ice skating… The list goes on. Plenty of food on site. Take a walk in the sunset or gold through your afternoon. Plenty to do and see. Staff are kind and helpful. Great place for a little get away or your next company retreat.
Rooms: Lots of options. Very clean and comfy.
Nearby activities: Sight seeing, hiking, camping. Klamath River and lake, crater lake, trail systems
Safety: Very safe environment. Private community with plenty of lighting. And staff around. Far enough from town, but close enough as well.
Walkability: Lots of trails and nice roads to walk along.
Food and drinks: On site restaurants and bar. Delivery also available.

I liked this place. There really aren’t a lot of nice places to stay near Crater Lake. There’s a restaurant in-house. There’s golfing, a three mile loop to walk around the course, horseback riding, a gym. It’s just kind of a lovely place to stay. Also the water pressure in the bathroom was amazing!

Beautiful resort, great staff, pet friendly, clean rooms, coffee bar, and restaurant downstairs. The restaurant staff were STRUGGLING the night we came, but everything else was perfect.

The office ladies are genuinely nice. Love that this location has no sales office.

Accommodations are comfortable but dated. Some maintenance needed but nothing crucial.
Staff very welcoming and helpful.
Nearby activities: Great golf course, nice pool, playground and courts for tennis and pickle ball. Lots of walking/biking trails.
