Terrible review I am going to leave. We trusted this vet. They were our family vet for over 30 years or so. We tried to get our dog in that had a severe infection and got attacked and sprayed by a skunk. It took 5 days to get him in because the vet was on vacation. Nobody else could see our lab before then. When we got him in, they gave him antibiotics and antiinflamitories and such. I asked them to do "whatever it takes" for him to not suffer and possibly survive. They sent him home without proper wound care, with maggots crawling out of his groin area, with another wound on his other leg that they didnt even check out and see, we had to keep calling them through the week as the dog got worse and worse with thousands of maggots coming out of this poor animal. They kept telling us to keep washing the maggots off daily and they would stop because they gave him a dewarmer. NO! what they put us through was out of a horror movie! I spoke to 2 other vets, the happy pet vet in klamath wich they said there was a procedure they could have done to help us get rid of the maggots the first day, secondly they should have put him on an i.v. with fluids and heavy antibiotics and he needed hospitalized, thirdly, the staff isnt the same as it used to be and I didnt like how one of the girls kept glaring at me, happy pet vet called Lakeview animal hospital and they had me rish him in. HE HAD ALREADY GONE SEPTIC AT THIS POINT AND I HAD TO PUT HIM DOWN. I will never forgive s. 6th vet for making our poor dog suffer for 7 days like this. If your gonna be on vacation, have a replacement vet to handle emergencies for you! Ridiculous! You charged us almost 500.00 for him to go home and suffer! Lakeview only charged me 325.00 for everything and they were absolutely amazing, sweet and so sincere. They were fast, and thorough, and I officially am FIRING s.6th vet from the rest of our 8 animals. 30 years and this is how you treat loyal customers. Shame on you! Your never touching another animal of ours, and if I can help it, none of our friends or families animals either. SHAME ON YOU. ??

They don't have time to give my dog a shot to put her to sleep. She's 15+ and have several issues the last couple weeks. She's had a great life and hopefully I can find someone who has a couple minutes to help me put my dear dog Gypsy to rest. I'm new here and I guess if your not a client they can't help you.

I went with this clinic because they had one of the highest ratings. First off, whoever answered the phone was rude, and I'm trying to take care of my pet. She then schedules me an appointment at 11:10 am, and I call back to cancel, and another person answers and tells me that they don't do appointments today because there is no doctor there. They really need to get their stuff together, it was a terrible experience from the onset.

I made one appointment and tried to get my dog in three other times. First time vet was on vacation second time they cancelled because vet was sick third time they were busy 4th time same thing to busy. One other time they gave my dog the wrong medication. Thinking maybe it will be better to find a vet that actually takes care of our pets. I personally will be looking somewhere else. It's been a waste of time trying to get in to see this vet Ray Klamath Falls

Main point in hand, we just took out 5 of our pets from ever being seen again from this Veteran. 3 dogs and two cats. We rescued a Frenchie that we knew nothing about her history on. This was a month ago. She had a discharge coming from her vagina and she needed to get updated shots as well as her rabies shot to get licensed. Upon taking her in we were told she was coming out of heat which is the reason for the discharge. We opted in getting her spayed. She also had a bump on her back that needed to be removed and sent off to the lab. We also wanted her chipped while she was under for the spay.
After dropping her off today for the procedure and the rest of her needs, we got a call from a tech (while our dog was open on the operating table) that her uterus was already taken out. Here we are thinking she needed this operation and had been talked to by the vet a month earlier that she looked good and things were normal. Now they’re asking about her history…… We were very open and transparent about the fact that she was a rescue and we knew nothing about her history on our first visit. Finding out that she didn’t need this operation and that they didn’t even look into this prior really upset our whole family. We know that this vet has an ultrasound machine on site and now know they never even looked into her needs thoroughly before this procedure. If I bring my child to an operation, they know without a shadow of a doubt what needs to be done before going through surgery.
My wife who got the call originally went in to pick up our dog and to talk to the vet personally. The Vet came in and started back tracking saying that they found a 5th of an ovary inside our dog. This alone is very suspicious and does not warrant the fact that they went in unnecessarily to get such an object. He was not acting in a professional manner and was arguing with my wife. No bedside manner whatsoever. I paid the bill and decided to do that over the phone as I am much more hot headed than my wife. We asked for all our animal records to be ready when we picked up our pup. That wasn’t even done and they had hours to comply. Needless to say, we will never be coming back to this vet again. Almost every person we have talked to has given us similar stories and now I am one of them. We will be giving a lot of extra attention to our dog for the next few days while she recovers as this was not fair to her. BEWARE WHEN CHOOSING THIS VET!!!!!

Staff are always kind and quick. They've been very accommodating with our schedules. Starting taking my cat here during covid lock downs and I've never taken an animal somewhere else since. 10/10.

We're so incredibly grateful for this wonderful vet service. We've been patients for years with routine checkups and vaccines.Last week our cat returned home after missing for months, grievously injured, unable to walk, the compassion and care that has been offered to her has been vital in her continuing recovery.
