If I could give zero stars I would. I had the worst experience today at the this ulta with one of your workers named Mariah. I waited patiently for her to finish her conversation with another employee to be checked out, only to receive a rude attitude when I asked to be checked out. She proceeded to try an argue about the transaction when I just wanted to pay for my things and leave. I’ll just save the trip next time and go to the Sephora in the next town!

So I was in Ulta on August 2 2023 I am in a wheelchair your store is not wheelchair accessible with all your displays in the middle of the isles. I would have spent more money but I couldn't get around. Only one gal offered help after I had struggled for 10 mins.

I just want to say Cassie cut my sons hair today. We are above pleased with her work and how nice she is! He has hard hair to work with and she knows her stuff! Highly recommend Cassie ❤❤ we found our new hairdresser for our family tonight !

I like the fact I can try a product and if it doesn't work out there are no questions asked about returning it and they want to help you find what your looking for. Unfortunately I don't think many of the associates are realy knowledgeable of the products or understand shades of skin. I was given fair skin tones for 3 different foundations 3 different times, after each time explaining im not "fair" skinned I am medium toned due to all my freckles on my face so it looks like I'm washed out if I go to light. I finally went in and did not ask for help and got the correct shade in "medium" although seems like most the high priced concealers don't like to set properly I ended up going back to a cheaper brand that ive always used and returned the one to Ulta without a problem. I also didn't like the fact that 2 different associates said I could use a "setting spray" and that's what they use, both people who said this had clear signs of their foundation not in place in several areas on their face and blush had splotches as well, so not sure if a setting spray is the way to go considering ive never had to use a setting spray and it doesn't look like it works anyways. I'm giving a 5 star rating bc the associates are very nice and always greet you and make eye contact and treat you like you are welcome. Also it's great having this store in Klamath.

While making a purchase today I was told by Bianca that I couldn't purchase it without giving a phone number becauseshe will get "dinged". She literally asked a random custom for their number for my purchase. Just ring my items up and I'll pay that's all I wanted. Very unpleasant and unprofessional experience. My wife and I spend alot of money at this store. Not anymore I guess

This place is Awesome!!! The people who work there are friendly and very helpful, if they don't know an answer to you question they can find out from another worker or look it up. I still haven't looked at EVERTHING there, it's huge!!!

Right after they opened in Klamath Falls, I went to purchase a specific eyebrow pencil. I was helped by an associate that worked there and she pointed out the sale sign and asked if I would like to buy more than one. After waiting in line over 30 minutes, the cash register girl told me “oh, that sale is over “. I reminded her that when a sign is posted with the sale price, and an associate is trained to point that out to a customer, it’s illegal not to honor the posted price and please ask a manager to come forward. The manager also said the sale was over and the regular price applied. I reminded her as well that this was against the law and said I would not be taking either, left the store and will never return again.I’m certain Alta corporate and the Better Business Bureau would like to know of their practices.

I went in the store to return a perfume, I got information prior(asking if I could return my perfume without a receipt but using the information on my ulta account). The cashier at the time said yes, as long as it’s 80% full and not broken, and I was like cool I’ve used it twice, it stinks. I drove home and brought the perfume back, the lady that helped me the second time (a heavy set alternative/emo looking girl with wild dyed hair I think silver) was not very good at customer service, and she was the manager, I walked up with a smile and a cheerful greeting (because I do have good customer service) and my request to return my perfume. The way she looked at me and gave me a fake smile I could already tell that the girl wasn’t going to help me. She looked for a box to scan the sku code and said she didn’t have it therefore she couldn’t do the return, she also said it was because it looked open. I called customer service and they said that the return should’ve been possible, I came down to a different store and they did the return with no issue, not needing the barcode from the box, they just got it from the computer with no issue and no sass. I used to go in and pick up products because I liked how calm that store was, I never minded the ladies followed me and stared me down, cause they thought I was going to take something. Because I knew I was there to purchase stuff, but not being able to return something I purchased at the same store, because the girl didn’t want to do her job and just wanted to profile me, is not okay. A person like that shouldn’t work customer service and definitely shouldn’t manage a store. People shouldn’t feel bad where they go purchase their products. They should get better training so every store can go ny the same policy, they should, but I guess it wasn’t thorough enough.

So this is the first time I’ve ever been in this ulta, I came in to get one thing, but you know it goes, I got the hemps chapstick, but had to run outside to get more money, cause I came in with the amount of the thing I needed, limiting myself but it didn’t work, anyway I came back and an amazing employee named Justin came back with this chapstick and recommended it to me, with his own feed back, which is very helpful and sold me to it, fast. I’ve gotten about 50 different chapsticks, looking for the right one, and this one is truly it, when I wears off, my lips and still moisturized and fresh feeling. I just want to say a big thank you to him, and the other sweet employees, because this is something I’ve very much needed, especially with the weather changing. Thank you so much and for the amazing customer service

*Update -November 2021-From 5 stars to 3.It's noticably slid a bit downhill over the past year to year and a half. I'm in 1-3 times a month.I still think everyone is usually super friendly, so that's a plus.I'm not pleased with the company itself, but I may be misplacing that displeasure. It may be due to poor management.This particular Ulta location, being somewhat of an island, no other Ulta's, no other direct competitors, seems to be, as of late, left without the perks of the stores with competition in proximity.It's a struggle to get the 'free gift with purchase' perk, the company doesn't send many of those to this location, according to employees when I ask, I always ask. Why?The sales, case in point, the Black Friday sales are NOT marked, nor do they ring up.For the love of everything sacred, please don't make me remind the sales clerk that THIS, THIS & THAT, are half price, 30% off and whatnot. If I'm spending a minimum of $80 a visit, sometimes several hundred dollars, I'm expecting any free gifts or any discounts that apply to my purchases.I'm not sure if being in a beauty store desert has provided the lax environment or if it's bad management, probably the latter, regardless, it's enough to push me to shop online. That not going to guarantee I shop a through Ulta, why chase customers away?**In early November 2021 the customer in front of me asked what she would get as her birthday gift, the clerk handed her a rather large Ulta box from the stack on the counter behind her, another clerk immediately took it away from the customer.Seriously, that's rude!! Get your operations squared away so this doesn't happen.They ended up giving her an Ulta small bag sampler. She was obviously not pleased.Being up next, I asked "what do I get for my birthday"?The clerk, the great taker away-er says "nothing, we don't do that, you can go online I think"."No, you gave her something, I would like something".She pulled out a Briogeo hair serum and told me to "go online, get a code and come back"."Nope, she left with a gift, I'd like to get my gift". I left with my hair serum.The lady in line behind me, stated it was her birthday month as I was leaving.Later I had to email corporate to get my double birthday points.(they should auto apply, this is NOT the sales clerk fault)I did also report the above incident in that same email.**This incident above is directly related to bad management.Hold daily short meetings, brief your staff.Don't pass incompetence off to the customer, I'm not paying for that and it's definitely not a bonus.--OLD REVIEW--Everyone is very helpful finding and recommending products.It's nice to walk in and say "I'm looking for a product that does (whatever) and I'd like to keep it in (this) price range".They always offer up many options and brands in several price ranges to choose from. If one of them doesn't have any experience with a specific product, they'll immediately get another associate that has either experience with it or knowledge about it

Jasmine did my hair and was amazing. She was very kind and knowledgeable about the products she used in my hair which smelled great. Overall satisfied with the service. Would definitely go back!

If you want to be singled out and watched like a hawk by the staff and experience the most awkward shopping experience of you life, shop here. I for one will never be going back and will encourage others not to as well. Have a nice life Ulta.
