Animal Health Center
10302 Wallowa Lake Hwy, La GrandeI used to have very very bad experiences with this vet. BUT I have to say the staff was beyond helpful and kind. They worked with me and assessed the issues of my little FLoki and made sure he was taken care of and helped. They helped me figure out my care credit. I’ve never had a better experience! Thank you all for saving Floki we appreciate you guys! I’m forever greatful for you guys getting the foxtail out of his nose. And the pricing was fair and very inexpensive. I expected to pay at least 400$ and only ended up paying 160$. Thanks from Floki and myself!

The Local
1508 Adams Ave, La GrandeLove the upcycled use of this cool old gas station! We were happy to hear that the staff knew about precautions for gluten-free, Celiac safe hot breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was delicious and I loved the other items the had for sale, like tea bags.

Le Bebe Cakes Bakery & Tea Parlor
1101 Washington Ave, La GrandeDecent pricing and absolutely delicious desserts, man. I haven’t had a macaron this good this side of Oregon in a long while. Last time I had one that even came close was up in Seattle, and that was years ago.
I left with a raspberry lemonade fudge, and when I got home and took a small bite, it was packed with so much flavor I thought I ascended for a second. Straight up heavenly.
Next time I’m in La Grande, I’m stopping by every single time. Whoever’s making the goods over there is insanely talented. I’d recommend everybody give this place a shot.

La Fiesta | Mexican Restaurant & Lounge
1802 Adams Ave, La GrandeWe stopped by for lunch while visiting LaGrande from Pittsburgh. The owner and staff were super friendly. We loved talking with them. The chips that were served came with three dips - a bean dip, a salsa and a dip made with cabbage, cilantro and pineapple juice. They were all good but the cabbage one was absolutely fantastic. The decor is beautiful. If we ever make it back to LaGrande, we’ll definitely stop again.

Bud Jackson’s Eatery & Taps
2209 Adams Ave, La GrandeStopped in to meet my friend who is localish (lives in Elgin), said it's the places she always go if they are to eat out. Prices were reasonable, my dad and I got the Thursday special, which was a Rib basket OR top sirloin. We both got the sirloin. It came with choice of baked potatoes, mashed potatoes or fries. My father got a loaded baked potato, I got mashed. I should've asked for gravy. It was potato skin mashed potatoes. My dad enjoyed his potato. Our steaks we requested medium to medium rare and I think they did well meeting that. It was a liiiittle over peppered for my liking and my dad found his a bit tough. Mine was fine other than the pepper.
As for my friend, she got the spilt pea soup and a side of sweet potato fries. They looked good and I think if the regular fries are cut that way then I would've thoroughly enjoyed them! I wish I got the fries! Oh well! OH, and I think my friends baby can 100% suggest eating the table for brunch 😆

Blue Mountain Humane Association
3212 US-30, La GrandeWe went to adopt a dog. We were given plenty of time to get acquainted with our little Sophie. The staff were super helpful, answered all of our questions, and gave us a few little extras to help with Sophie's transition to our home. Would definitely recommend to others looking to adopt a pet.
