Royal Motor Inn is located on the main drag, making it easy to find. It is a basic, no-frills motel that is generally described as clean, tidy, and well-kept, though some guests noted the outside could use cleaning up and called it old. The rooms are basic but comfortable, with good water pressure and comfy beds. Staff are frequently described as friendly, nice, accommodating, kind, honest, and responsive. They are helpful in stressful situations, such as during an interstate closure or a breakdown, without price gouging. The motel is near town amenities, with a great coffee shop next door. Some guests reported issues like loud noises all night, a missing or broken TV that was not fixed, and an extra charge for a first-floor room despite a disability. However, many found it an affordable, secure, and comfortable place to stay, with good Wi-Fi, and would return. It is also pet-friendly.
I hit a deer outside of town and this was the only place that answered the phone when I was trying to find a room.. it was pretty expensive for a dated room that was kinda gross. Definitely not worth what they charged me..

You pay for budget, you get budget. Felt like a safe area. Close to the highway. Lots of random vehicle sounds at night

The place was on the main drag. So it was easy to find. It could have used some cleaning up. The outside was un kept. I was charged $10 extra for a room on the first floor. Even though I am disabled and can't go up the stairs with my luggage. There was loud noises all night long. A Royal dissatisfaction to say the least.
