Our son is running his interent company that has been in business for almost 30 years and he moved it to La Grande. I’ve heard nothing but nightmare stories about the post office front desk people complaining that he’s bringing to many packages into the post office! Guess what the packages are even labeled. They can run all their employees on Sunday for Amazon but for a small local business they complain!! Or does Amazon now own the post office?I say if you’ve worked for the post office for 5 years you have to complete your career in the back room out of the sight of people. No one wants to see your grumpy face!!

Same complaints as everyone else here basically. Holding mail from us, throwing away our mail, verbal harassment and degradation, breaking items at the counter, losing packages we drop off to send out, it's literally a nightmare. So, now, we record ALL of our interactions there on a cell phone because everyone legally can (know your rights) and I encourage you to, as well, if you're facing the same problems. They don't act the same when they know they're on someone else's camera.

Horrible service. And by God don't complain about anyone because they will stop delivering your mail.

I had a package delivered to my mail box and the carrier delivered it to the wrong mailbox so I called the company and was put through a ringer. I couldn't even get ahold of someone at first, then they told me my case number was dismissed and he wasn't sure why so he opened a new one.... I'm sitting here wondering why you can't call the office and have the mail carrier check the mailbox for your package.

Will only try to deliver packages once, not like every other post office I've worked with and will try 3 delivers before holding it at the post office. They only try once and make you come pick it up with is hard when they are closed saterday and Sunday the only days off most people have or schedule a redelivery which puts me in the same spot as why I missed it in the first place. Funny they won't just try redelivering on saterday

This post office is really hard to deal with. They have caused so many issues for my business I have lost count. The postmaster, and many of the employees including my mail carrier are incredibly unprofessional, hostile, and completely incompetent.

Shorter older man was completely rude today as my order was confusing and told me to pick it up at the pick up point he said “ I could grab your package if you want to explain to everyone why they have to wait 10-15 mins to get their stuff done” - there was about three other people and another lane open. As he said this, he said it loud and everyone looked at me. I have seen better customer service at the local fast food places! Will not be returning.

The worst post office I have ever dealt with. Marked a package as undeliverable because the address was “incorrect.” It was not. They returned the package to the sender.

The most incompetent people I have ever encountered working with the post office. I ordered Christmas presents and they left them in the street. Not at my door, but 50 yards down the road near my mail box. I drive a Buick LeSabre and I drive up and down road with ease. No reason, but pure laziness to do that. I finally recovered the box happy about that, but not happy with there service

One of the employees was wearing a thin blue flag mask so we're already off to a bad start. Then they want to charge me $56 to mail a small-medium box that didn't weigh more than 3lbs. It's literally cheaper to order a product online and get free shipping for that amount, plus it would arrive sooner than USPS can do.

Petty about ounces. Hate la Grande office, go somewhere else in the valley. Printed off 15 shipping labels and didn’t let me ship any out. The short darker toned woman specifically, terrible customer service. Just rude/not friendly. Worst experience I’ve had in awhile, got back in my truck and was in tears. Put in so much effort and she wouldn’t help me, even though she could have just charged me the difference she sent me back with my 15 plus packages (heavy) out the door. Petty ounce weirdo.

Mark put an incomplete address on the label that he made for my package and the package was returned. Will use UPS or FedEx exclusively in the future.

It's now been a full three years I have lived here. Not one piece of mail has been misdelivered to my PO Box. Nothing has "gone missing." The attendants have always been efficient and personable. Long-timers in this town should not take this for granted, and for all the praise given to a restaurant that serves good beer, much more praise should be given to the people who deal with YOUR LIFE on a day to day basis. In some places very shadey, apathetic and nasty people are employed to do that job.
