First time at this store and they didn’t have anything I was looking for like the one in willamina.
Today my second time in, not only was there 1 employee working but checking out the employee was very rude and wack, not sure if he was on something but I’m never coming back.

I will never shop at this Dollar general again. One of the co-workers and old man accused me of stealing and I took him back to where I put the items that I didn't want. He was very rude and yelled at me and told me not to come back in the store because I didn't want to purchase my items after being accused of stealing.

These stores are leaching on our small communities by offering deceptive pricing, low wages and terrible working conditions. Those that choose to shop here are part of the problem. I know I am in a failing community when I see a Dollar General.

Three stars due to a long wait with no cashier at the checkstand. I was tempted to just walk out with my items. I must have waited at least 5 minutes for the clerk to show up (and no other staff around).

I just went in there and my card wouldn't go through and without hesitation the owner pulled out his card and payed! I have always payed it forward but it's never happened to me. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart! ❤️

I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment with an experience I had at your store location Lafayette Oregon at 9:45am My children were attempting to purchase groceries using our EBT card, but the employee at the register refused to allow them to swipe or manually enter the card. They claimed that the pad runner was unable to read EBT cards, even though we have had no issues using the card at other stores.This refusal not only caused inconvenience and embarrassment for my children and myself, but it also goes against the policies and guidelines set by the government for EBT card usage. As a recipient of government assistance, I have a right to use my EBT card at any store that accepts it, and I should not be denied service based on the employee's lack of understanding or ability to process the card properly.I understand that mistakes can happen, but the way in which the employee handled the situation was unprofessional and unacceptable. It is important for your employees to be properly trained on how to accept and process EBT cards in order to provide equal service to all customers.I hope that you will take this matter seriously and address any issues with employee training to ensure that similar incidents do not occur in the future.

This is the nicest Dollar general store I've been to. It's super clean and the staff is super helpful. Almost every time I think they won't have a certain item, I find out that they do have it! It's amazing how many different products they have in such a small space. You can tell the management and staff really care about this store!

First off cleanest store I've seen in my life. I gave compliments to all the employees who were cordial. The assistant manager and manager of this store are of great concern. Their bottle return is lacking living up to the state law. As a state citizens of Oregon we have the right to return bottles anytime the business is open. My first day in the store they at first refused my returns. I informed them of the law they said well we don't have the room. Again I informed them of the law. They then said well corporate is coming and we don't want it to look tacky. I told them I would report their refusal to the liquor commission. They called the manager and then accepted my return bottles. I told the employee that i appreciated their helping me. Second time I came in the assistant manager totally refused my returns. I informed her I would have to report them to the liquor commission. The third time i came in the manager told me I would have to wait till another employee got back from break. I waited patiently and the manager himself overlooked my counting of the bottles. I came to one can that was smashed but not outside of the law. I Said according to the state law it is acceptable because you can tell the brand and see the oregon 10cents. By law you only need one of those. He told me they won't take them and refused. He said I know who you are you came in here before cursing at my employees. He said this is your last time in my store. I told him I never cursed at your employees and encouraged him to look at the camera. I don't even like cursing I think it's a sign of ignorance on finding words to use of good taste. There is also no bottle drop law sign required by the liquor commission to have posted. Contacting their corporate to complain also.
