The team here has been 10/10 martha always gets back to me same day if I have any questions. Kseniya constantly helps me if I have any issues such as getting a check hold verified. I run a hemp company and delighted to be able to run my business just like any other.

First Citizen's Bank has been an amazing part of my success as a small business. Paul and all the staff there are super helpful and extremely hardworking. If you are looking for a long term relationship with a bank First Citizens is the way to go.. They will take care of you.. That has been my experience for the past 10 + years I have been with the bank. I had different banks prior to First Citizens and I can only say that if I could give them 10 stars I would of! It is the people that make the difference and First Citizens Bank has top notch people here in Portland. Give Paul a call if you are looking to get the best banker in town working for you. This is a bank which recently opened branches on the west coast, specifically Oregon. They are headquartered in North Carolina. Our experience on both the personal and business side has been horrendous. Policies are onerous at best and fees for everything are either outrageously high or unwarranted when compared to other community banks. Merchant services are non-existent after close of business on the east coast. The bank needs to adapt to the fact that the west coast is three hours behind the east coast. Be careful as their automated customer validation system allows your information, including social security numbers, to be easily hacked or appropriated. Even though they have been made aware of this, they refuse to adapt their system. As a result of all this and more, we are obviously changing banks again. It has been both a frustrating experience and a tremendous waste of time after giving in to so much marketing hype. Spare yourself the effort. You can't judge a bank by its outward trappings.
