No agent showed up for showing for a rental property even after having us confirm the appointment multiple times and uploading our personal information documents. Tried calling their phone multiple times doesn’t even allow to leave a voice mail. Extremely unprofessional!

One of the hardest management companies to get a hold of. Their hours say “open” But they’ll spend the entire workday ignoring your phone call. You leave a message and they never call you back. When you have emergencies, And homeless people camping on private property (the backyard I pay for). Seems like they’re only responsive when you’re looking for an apartment, Once you’re in, they don’t give a crap about you.

We’ve used Mainlander as a property owner for the past 12 years and it’s been a great partnership. Sue and her team made the whole process seamless and were always there when we needed them. I would highly recommend Mainlander if you’re looking for someone to manage your property!

Erin was really nice, friendly and helpful.
What I’m upset about is Mainlander asking us for a co signer who makes 5x the monthly rent. You heard me correctly… 5x. So 12k a month.
It seemed like an easy way to collect an application fee, and get rid of the person by creating an unrealistic standard. My fiancée and I make well over the amount monthly.
So sad this beautiful house is sitting empty, shame for the owners who likely have no idea.

Wow, I hate these people. If you have a rental property "taken care of" by them, you probably know the misery all too well.
Everytime you recieve an extremely urgent email from them it is riddled with typos, names spelled wrong, inaccurate information and a new person's name signed at the end of the notice every time telling me that turnover is high. You respond immediately, but sometimes don't even get a response back at all from them.
Multiple emails later, you decide to call them. Phone tree has options listed that DON'T GO ANYWHERE. When you do finally get the person live who sent you emails THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO GET BACK TO YOU on whatever simple question you asked. They never know how to help you and now I'm back to waiting forever again.
God forbid, they bring out a maintenance tech to your property. It's clear they don't want to be there or try and help you. The amount of times the problem was "fixed" in 15 minutes, and then a week later I've had to call them back to fix it again, was a lot. The decisions that some of these maintenance techs have made have been absurd. A favorite of mine was the one who installed the biggest splash guards I have ever seen in our already cramped bathroom. They are so large that we have busted them off twice now after being tripped by them, which means they have come back to fix it.
Can't forget about the time we were charged $500 for a maintenance tech to give us new drip pans as the way to solve our electric burner issues...that were never solved. Or the time our microwave/stove vent combo was not seen to be an issue until it literally exploded and then was found to be a huge fire hazard once removed... Or the thousands of dollars they've pocketed from our overpaid security deposit when we have a new roommate move in. This place robs the tenants and the landlords whenever they possibly can. I've never been in a rental that has made me pay random maintenance bills until this place.
Every interaction I've had with this company has been dreadful. Run for the hills. These people hate their jobs and they hate you for needing questions answered about YOUR HOME. One of the most essential human needs and they can't even spell your name right.
