I'm relatively new to the area and have recently gained access to the Mountain Park Clubhouse. From the moment I stepped foot onto the premises, I'd been greeted with warmth. From the very first tour of the facility, to the usage of the workout facility, right down to spending time in the pool area with my children — every experience has been quite literally exceptional.
The place is kept very clean. The equipment in the weight room is immaculate. I currently have a membership at 24HR Fitness that essentially will go unused. THIS is now my go to. They open at 6AM some weekdays, which is perfect for an early riser like me who wants to start the day off right. Parking has been great in my experience. The location is so serene and quiet, my kids love it.
Now, I'd like to take the opportunity to highlight the staff. I am not joking in the slightest when I say EVERY person in this building has been nothing short of exceptional, genuine and just overall a high quality individual. Hannah, Sherry, Faye (apologies if I misspelled) and the wonderful Valerie have made my welcome and subsequent stay absolutely enjoyable.
My kids eyes lit up when Valerie took us on a tour and they saw the pool for the first time with the huge water slide. I truly can't thank you all enough for all that you do. I'd also like to shout out the great lifeguards at this location, with special mention of Sam who ensured everyone was safe and following proper pool protocol.
The people I've met in the weight room have been amazing. Very welcoming, helpful and insightful of the neighborhood in the best ways. I dread the day I have to move from this area and no longer have access to this Clubhouse, for it has been one of the true joys and reprieve of my time here in Mountain Park.
I appreciate you all really and truly, and thank you for welcoming both my family and I with open arms. It is an unequivocal honor and privilege to be a member of this community.

Staff are friendly and fun to talk to. Rules are fair and reasonable. I feel some people need to understand that the clubhouse is not totally public and is exclusive to residents and those that pay who do not live in mt. Park. There needs to be rules and policies to help keep the facility safe, clean and inviting to patrons. If anything, some patrons are off putting more than any employee orstaff at the clubhouse. Also, thank you clubhouse for all your hard work.

Very nice facility with a great pool. I only wish there were more "young" fitness classes, like kettlebell, TRX suspension training, circuit... I know a lot of people in the area who pay for a gym membership just to have access to more classes. I like that it's not too busy and parking is easy!

My experience with the Mountain Park Club has been unfortunate. Just a week ago, I went into the club to see about membership because I recently moved into the neighborhood. The representative I talked to on the phone and ultimately met in person was very nice. He explained that it’s optional to join and how much the fees are and that you can cancel with 30 day notice. He told me there’s no contract fee. When he went to set up my account, though, he saw one already there with a substantial balance beyond the dues and said it was past due. Which he laughed at, because 8/18 was the first time I had gone in there, yet the bill was dated all the way back to July.Well, since it was the first time I walked in the door, it was impossible for me to have a past due bill. He told me to call back the following week, and that he would message someone (Brady?) internally. The following week, I received some kind of generic email with no name from the Mountain Park community center saying that I do owe the money (billed for 7 weeks before I walked in the door) and they want a transfer fee $200!!!!!!! for me to join. This would essentially make the cost of this membership $760 year 1. Well, I told them that I didn’t want to join. The automated email wrote back and said it was too late because the escrow officer (chosen by the sellers) they emailed—after, after, after AFTER my escrow closed—told them to contact me directly about billing. She had no authority to establish a bill for me which was not a contractual obligation required to close my escrow. My escrow closed because everything was done as it should’ve been. So, they took the escrow officers email saying to bill me as authority or something to establish an account for me.Keep in mind, before I went in on August 18, I had spoken to the person at the location. He didn’t say there was a joining fee, not on the phone or in person. When he input my information, he didn’t understand why I was being charged a late fee or what the fees were. Had he told me there was a $200 joining fee, I never would’ve considered it. He didn’t know. Of course we both thought it was an oversight. He said, let’s hold off until next week when we can get it squared away. That’s when their automated email address wrote me, pointing the finger at an escrow officer who told them to send me a bill after the close of escrow. This was their explanation for why I have to pay them after I said I DON’T WANT TO BE A MEMBER.They don’t answer the phone or return voicemails. Instead, they send automated messages. I have had to involve multiple escrow officers, realtors, my community manager, and even the sellers.I now don’t want to be a member because they treated me horribly at the gate by adding hidden fees, back billing, and establishing an account without MY authorization. And if this was a requirement, they are the ones that should have sent a demand or escrow officer should have caught that. Either way, it’s not on me.My advice to anyone considering joining this place is regardless of how cute the pictures look, no matter what they say to you on the phone, it doesn’t seem like they are reasonable people. Read some of the other reviews that people have written.I hope they resolve my issue and stop opening accounts for people in the future. We were all instructed. This is not a mandatory membership but a additional privilege that we have the right to pay for if we elect to use it.

It feels like I’m paying a lot of money to support programs for children which is great but I don’t have any. I’m paying nearly $60 a month in separate HOA dues for a gym with limited hours for those of us who aren’t retired and are working. Most gyms are under $30 now. So we need an option to get out of this gym because I have to pay for a separate one since I work. Also the hours were more reasonable before COVID seems rates didn’t change and hours reduced using this excuse.
