I've heard wonderful stories of animals and young people in this program. I met a couple of the dogs and know the care that goes into finding the right forever homes for them. Incredible healing and growing happens here. Project Pooch, their staff and participants ( 2 legged and 4 legged too) are amazing!

About Project POOCH, Inc.
Project POOCH is a non-profit organization that provides life-changing opportunities for incarcerated youth and shelter dogs. We operate a small kennel inside MacLaren Youth Correctional Facility, where the youth learn dog training, kennel management, and basic job and life skills. The dogs get trained and adopted into their forever homes. We are a triple win for our community—helping youth gain perspective and life skills to become successful community members upon release, helping dogs gain the skills and confidence to be good family members, and providing our community with great dogs.
