Had a terrible experience here. I was shopping late at night but enough to do my shopping. I heard the announcement that they were closing soon. With 10 minutes before closing, this obese man stood resting on a cart and told me of the announcement and we had to leave right then. No more shopping. We were nearly done shopping any way. This man was extremely rude and if he is a manager it's reason enough not to visit this store again.

Terrible customer service. Early in the morning they have none of the self checkouts open AND there is rarely a cashier at their station. Had to be checked out by the Starbucks employee. They need to have someone stationed to help customers.

Extremely sad and appalled on how Safeway is handling my entire experience with finding a grasshopper in my salad and within a month I found plastic inside my chicken salad from the other L.O. store. Overall, all produce and food quality has degraded to the point where I’ve bought corn with mold and returned it. Garlic, thyme and Rosemary are always molding within 2 days or already half rotted when you get in inside. No one wants to run and return every little thing each time when Safeway is over 20 minutes away. Safeway wants to sweep all of this under the rug with refunding me my 2 contaminated food items and only if I make a huge stink they want to offer $10-20 credit or gift cards. This is FOOD we are talking about and after the thousands of dollars I have spent at their locations they have the audacity to say do you want a replacement? Yeah sure, let me sell you bug food and see if you want a replacement as if you won’t be completely grossed out eating anything of the same nature after what you saw. Everyone has been completely dismissive and wants to shut me up with some stupid little gift card. If this is how you keep treating customers who spend thousands of dollars then that’s super sad. I refuse to give you any more of my money until this is all handled properly. We will see if I even get a call back from corporate.

I'd say the store met expectations. They had what I was looking for. Plenty of convenient parking. The checker was very friendly, although I get the impression many of the customers here are not friendly. The store was reasonably clean. Plenty of shopping carts, and even the small ones like I like. I bought milk here, got it back to my hotel, and it was cold and fresh. All in all a good experience.

I dont LOVE the newer Safeway app. Some of the digital coupons don't scan in store and some clipped items don't make it on my app then I have to get an adjustment at the guest service desk

Patrick was super kind and helped me with my WIC when I forgot my card. I was super embarrassed and he took care of me. Nothing but kindness to a total stranger. I appreciate him and his amazing customer service.

They won't sell alcohol unless you allow them to write down your birth date. The law only requires that they verify that you are at least 21 years old. It doesn't require that they capture unnecessary data. Every one of these chains has either been hacked or will be hacked. It shows a disregard for customer safety when they collect data they don't need. Winco is cheaper anyways.

I've been going to the pharmacy for years and they are phenomenal. I've already reviewed this place but be sure if you have coupons or digital coupons and you try to use your smartphone that you ask somebody that knows how to do that otherwise you won't get the deal at the checkout

Worst experience, The deli guy was being weird (with the polo hat). His stare was unsettling and he was rude to us when we ordered and after we left went back he was trash talking about us. Like bro if this dude wanted to say some he should say it to our face. Creepy guy at the deli all because we don't know the names of the food we order.

This is not my usual store.I stopped in to get my son a balloon for his birthday. The floral department is completely outstanding. Since I was in the store before floral hours one of the cashiers helped me get balloons from my son. She was super friendly and knowledgeable and worked quickly too. If you have a floral need this store has got you covered. And if you're just coming in for a balloon like I did the selection is amazing.

No shopping here unless you have coupons and are able to scan the digital ones. This can be tricky so ask for help if it doesn't work at the checkout. I just go here for the pharmacy, and the staff are phenomenal. Shout out to Terry, Paul and Pawn, they have always been terrific to work with. ?

This is my favorite Safeway in the area. It's much less crowded and better stocked than the Tigard/King City location on Hwy 99. Everyone at the Meat and Seafood counter provides excellent customer service, but Joe especially stands out! He is so friendly and great to have a quick chat with! Patrick (or Pat?) the manager is also great! I've had a few issues with digital coupons not going though and he always fixes that without issue. The digital coupons make all the difference when shopping here - often there's $5 off $25 or $10 off $50. Plus with rewards, you can really stack up with a decent amount off of your total.
