Nothing but good things to say about Tangles Salon! Been getting my hair done by Wendy for upwards of 15 years now and have never been disappointed. It is a very welcoming environment, accurate pricing, and the employees there are always very friendly. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for a new stylist!

This place is so much fun!! The ladies that work there feel like family and they treat their clients so well. Such a fun environment to walk into!! I have had my hair done by a couple of different hairstylists in the salon and every time my cut and color has turned out great!! Impressed by how they are managing the covid restrictions, feels very clean and professional!! Keep up the good work :)

I am a new Tangles client and keep my hair very short so my appointments are every three weeks. The measures that Tangles is taking to protect clients during Covid are professional and consistent. I really appreciate the extra effort and time the beauticians are taking to provide top notch service. I’m so glad they’re open! Their pricing is right in line with surrounding salons and I’m happy to pay for salon services right now. I love that I can pay with Venmo. It makes the transaction so easy! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I love Tangles! Everyone here is so nice and so fun. Not to mention how happy I am with my hair every time! I have gone to multiple stylists and they all do an exceptional job. Extremely professional, comfortable and quality hair salon. I will never go anywhere else!

I had a fabulous experience at Tangles! The service is on time, professional, good value and very clean and attentive to Covid protocols. My hair is short so I'm going in every three weeks. Every visit has been top notch and the salon vibe is very friendly. You feel like you're getting together with your friends! You won't be disappointed!

Desperate, covid pricing and scams. I feel really misled and defrauded because I was booked an appt for a haircut + highlights, and was quoted by Neptune for $115. I explained to her on the phone that I had highlights, but dyed it blue/back, and now that dye has largely washed out, but I needed highlights put back in for a root touch up and to lift the color.When I arrived, Neptune told me she wouldn't do my hair because there wouldn't be enough time due to covid restrictions of one client at a time. Her next client was coming in like an hour. Plus, my pre-dyed hair would be too difficult. It would be considered a color correction. 1. It's OK if she didn't feel comfortable, but then why did she schedule me for a cut+ highlight? Why did she schedule me less than 2hrs, knowing how long cuts and highlights take? Why did she quote me so cheaply, when she could have just given me a higher price and allotted more time? I gave her all the information PRIOR to the appt. 2. She texted me, so I could have texted her pictures of my hair prior as well to make her decisions.3. If she knew pre-dyed hair was considered a color correction, why didn't she just recommend me to her colorist before? Why tell me to "stop back by" on Sunday to speak to the colorist? She proceeded to charge me $55 for a haircut by itself, and noted that she "felt bad" for even charging the additional $10 surcharge for loss of revenue. None of this pricing was disclosed prior-- since typically it is the dye job that accounts for most of the $115 quote.4. Why charge so much then? I didn't have to pay almost $60 for a one inch trim. I could have gone to SuperCuts. This was a scam to get me in through the door for a fast and easy service based on highlights. 6. I told her why I was upset. But the whole time I was there, she talked about how they lose $$ if the job takes too long due to the new regulations. 7. Neptune informed me that she doesn't even live in Oregon. She comes up from CA sometimes to work and stay with friends. Meaning, the accountability portion is incredibly difficult if she comes and goes-- along with question of cosmetology license in Oregon, which is required.8. Because she comes and goes, I couldn't even come back for her to make it right to try to do a root touch up. 9. She would only take cash or Venmo (no card)- meaning they're also evading taxes. 10. Pricing information not available on their website. I truly sympathize w/ the financial concerns. But I do NOT appreciate being taken for granted and misled. There were several transparency issues that were substantial here and opportunities for prevention many steps of the way. People need to know to avoid this place due to the ethics behind HOW they are operating.

From the first phone call to the appointment to the chair and out the door was very impressive. Even there clients were happy with smiles. You didn’t hear the typical gossip most salons have. The uplifting mood of the salon can not be hidden as each and every client walked through the door with a smile and anticipation of their visit and their stylist reflected their mood. A incredible atmosphere this salon has created. It is very hard to find a stylist that is happy in their workplace. Prices were great , I do believe you get what you pay for. I received the best service. I felt like a million bucks when I left . Thank you Nicole !
