The worst customer service. Communication is extremely frustrating and difficult to deal with. Hard to get a hold of anyone and the agents don't seem to care.

This company is the worst to deal with. No one returns your calls, and when you do call to get help each person you speak to is inconsistent and not helpful at all. Also you will have to repeat yourself a million times because these people cannot comprehend anything. Save yourself the trouble and use a different insurance company.

What a scam. You entered into an agreement to insure our house for 1 year. 2 months later you drop us for “not having central air”……….enjoy the $350 you stole. Apparently signed contracts mean nothing in this disgusting, ever devolving quagmire that is insurance. You ought to be ashamed as a company to do business this way. Best part is, you informed us by sending us a check in the mail…….then having to sit on hold for a half hour to find out why you sent a check, we get, “well it’s cancelled…… no central air.” What a ridiculous scam.

This company handled my Oregon parental leave terribly. They are unfamiliar with the Oregon family leave laws but yet are in charge of the leaves for the company I work for in Oregon. Working with them has been very difficult.

Hartford has pathetic customer service. Home insurance for 11 years and auto for 3 years. It is Hartford No Service. Even their CEO is unable or unwilling to answer customer questions. At one time they were great. About 3 years ago they got a new CEO and customer service has gone to hell. I will never recommend or do bustiness with them again. I held their stock and have sold it. I have advised by Stock Investing Club to do likewise.;
