The Lebanon Public Library is a true gem in the community, noted for its beautiful building with stained glass windows. The space is always clean and well-maintained, offering a cozy fireplace, an outdoor reading area, and a quiet atmosphere. It provides a wide selection of materials including books, CDs, DVDs, and various resources for all ages. The library is especially celebrated for its fabulous hands-on children's section, which features children's tables, small toys, and a cute puppet station. There are also kits available for teenagers and children. The library hosts tons of events for families, teens, and itty bitties, such as story times, guest speakers, Tai Chi classes, and educational shows like a wild animal park presentation or an astrology night with telescopes. Other offerings include a STEAM section and the ability to rent unique items like cake pans. The staff are informative and helpful. While late fees are mentioned, the library remains a cherished place that promotes reading fluency and comprehension, encouraging everyone to keep reading.
My favorite place in town; the staff is extremely kind and helpful, and the bathrooms always seem to be clean too. Great book selection as well & if Lebanon doesn't have what you're looking for, they do a bookshare with all of Linn County. Will always recommend the Lebanon Public Library.

My kids love this library but I've never lived in a place where I had to pay $50 for a library card because I didn't live in city limits, especially when I live five minutes away. They do have a great selection of books and services.
