“We had what we thought was an end of life emergency with our 14 year old cat. Of course it was on the Christmas Holiday weekend. Dr Hiatt was in the office with a full staff, and was able to see us right away. He was concerned, compassionate, and helpful. What turned out to be a flea allergy and a puffed-up bottom lip, was taken care of without an emergency fee of any kind, and we were sent home with a cat who is recovering nicely. “It’s the best feeling in the world when you realize that your vet isn’t just there to take care of your pet, they also care about helping you when you’re struggling too. I had to borrow money just to take my pet to the vet when he could barely walk. I couldn’t afford the xray that my vet needed to do a thorough evaluation of his condition either but she did such a thorough examination despite having my barriers interfering with what she was able to do for my dog but she didn’t look down on me or express frustration because I was asking her to fix my dog without having all of the information that would have helped her in her assessment. Instead, she offered to give me the medication that she was going to prescribe him and she didn’t even charge me that much for visit and when I was paying for the visit, they even came out with two bottles of both of the supplements that she recommended i give my dog that she felt would help improve his discomfort and issues. I was so grateful for that level of kindness to me and helping me meet the needs of my pet. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a high quality vet that cares about the humans bringing the animals in too. Joe is doing much better now as well.”
