Seahorse Oceanfront Lodging offers rooms with beautiful, sweet, and incredible oceanfront views, placing guests right on the beach with direct beach access. The location is fantastic, relaxing, and in the heart of everything. Many find it wonderful and affordable, with spacious rooms, a fabulous pool, and a lovely hot tub to watch the ocean. Management is often described as kind, friendly, and responsive, willing to fix issues and provide items like extra towels or a box fan for better air flow. However, the property is old and dated, needing fixing, remodeling, and TLC. Some rooms have issues like a broken shower, non-working stove burners, an unsecure fridge, broken blinds, thin walls, and wear and tear like a small hole in the floor. There is no A/C, and airflow isn't the best. The walk back from the beach is steep and could be a chore, and the stairs are too steep for wheelchair access. Parking is limited, but there is extra parking if you ask. Under new management as of July 2025, planned remodels aim to address these concerns.
It was a nice place to stay with great beach views from the room! They were going through some repairs on the pool and hot tub, so that was a bummer.

Not a bad place for a quick over night stay. Room was not the cleanest. There was no soap and a used shampoo was left in the shower. Lots of morning noice coming from the room above us. But overall I would stay again for a night.

Stayed in room 222 dog slobber on windows and ledge looked like its been there awhile steps to upper rooms on one side of walkway closed looked like it separated from upper walkway. No AC like most I guess over there couldnt open windows far enough. Window frame falling apart noticed other rooms had broken Window glass... read full comment
