  I phoned Mark's Auto Repair to swap shocks for ones I provided. They quoted a reasonable guestimate via phone and scheduled my bus for the following day.
  
  They provided swift, honest and quality service; Great service. The final charge was slightly below their initial guestimate. I give them a 5-star thumbs up.

  Picked these guys based on reviews. I have never felt more cheated. Charged me for a computer program that turned out to not be needed. Then charged me for a new computer module of some sort, only ro get hime and realize nothing was fixed. Out over $500 still no running vehicle

  Broke down in Warm Springs during the Cram wildfires due to what we thought was a belt issue. Got towed into town originally to a Ford dealership, but someone at the hotel we were staying at reccomended Mark's.
  
  We called early in the morning and they got us in ASAP. The car finished about an hour and a half later with an incredibly fair price. Highly recommend.

  Marks team was amazing. My car started leaking oil. They quickly found the issue, solved the problem and did it fast and professional. They saved me, I was on my way from Portland to Bend and they gote in right away and I was back on the road with in an hour. Thank you, thank you. 🤘

  My old Chevy Tahoe broke down years ago on my way home from Sunriver & they fixed it & got me back on the road in only a few hours.
  Fast forward to last week. My girlfriend & her kids were on their way to Sunriver & her Nissan Armada broke down in Madras. I told her to have it towed to Mark’s Auto because of my past experience with them. And once again they were awesome. They fixed her car the next morning & for a very very low price. Very honest & they didn’t take advantage of the situation like I think a lot of repair shops would have. It’s good to know there are still honest auto repair shops out there.
  Kudos & a big THANK YOU to Mark’s… again!

  Fast service from a family-ran business! We broke down outside of Madras, and Les Schwab recommended that we call Mark's Auto. I immediately made a plan to be towed there, where Mark and crew had the part already ordered for what we thought was the problem. After they looked at the motor, they realized it was a cracked something else, so right away, another part was ordered. We were in and out in about 2 hours, problem solved, and paid a very fair price. And this was on a Friday in June! Joey the friendly guard dog was a bonus, and Mark was super friendly. Thanks, guys, we made it home to Wenatchee with no more problems!

  Three hours away from home, my car started having major issues. Looking for auto shops in the area, we found Mark's Auto Repair. Even with a very busy day, they were happy to help us out and fix our car. I couldn't have asked for a better turn of events. Dalton and everyone else were so kind, helpful, quick and saved us from a very stressful, expensive rest of our day.

  What a lovely experience! We’re in town picking up a relative’s car and we knew that it needed a little bit of a tune up. Mark’s got us in quickly and easily. I know all repairs vary in time, but ours was done quickly and ended up being really affordable.
  
  Hint: google maps may send you on a little bit of a wild goose chase, so if you don’t already know where it is, I would recommend double checking directions/address. But you’ll absolutely be glad that you found it when you get there.
  
  Overall, if you’ve made it this far in the review, I’d absolutely recommend this place and when we’re back in town we’ll return for repairs needed.

  Be careful with the “free inspection”, it will cost you a lot more in the long run.
  
  … I was looking to purchase a truck from someone in culver right next to madras, I called around & Mark’s auto was the only one available to do it. They also didn’t even charge me. I offered to tip, but he would not accept.
  I ended up buying the truck, so I felt obligated to take it back to mark for the work because of the free inspection. I did what I thought was the right thing to do and had my fiancé follow me 50 minutes to the shop. When you add in the trips there and back we drove for over 5hrs that day to have my wheel bearing replaced.
  Upon picking up my vehicle, it seemed worse than when I dropped it off. To the extent I called and asked if they did anything. I even told him I wanted proof that it was replaced. He says he’s going to send it to me, but I’m yet to receive it.
  Whether they replaced the wheel bearing or not, my vehicle was misdiagnosed and not fixed even though I was assured otherwise. When I first had looked at mark said it was very apparent it was the wheel bearing(wasn’t the case).
  Mark told me the reason it was driving so bad was because I needed to get an alignment. I got the alignment, the truck still drives like crap. Fairly certain the tires are worn so unevenly it’s causing the instability. Either way it’s going to be much more costly than I anticipated.
  I called mark to see if he wanted to do anything to make it right. I was expecting at the very least a refund for the labor. Not only did he offer me nothing, he didn’t even apologize for the situation. Be careful of there free inspections it could cost you a lot in the long run. Better off taking your vehicle somewhere else .
