We stay here every time we head to the Polka Dot Agate Mine to mine and collect rocks. The hotel is old, but they have done some nice, modern upgrades, and everything is spotlessly clean. Front desk people are always friendly and helpful, and my husband says the breakfast is really good.

Friendly, helpful staff. Nice large room, very clean, two arm chairs and dining table, but no dining chairs. Two comfortable queen beds in our room. Pet friendly, no pet area and no grass found. Smaller tv screen. Mini fridge does not have freezer compartment. Very adequate for electrical outlets and USB ports near bed. Suitcase caddy, ironing board and iron. Sink area separate from tub/shower and toilet. Nice hot water all morning. Quiet room, not much noise from neighbors or parking lot. Will definitely stay again.

Great motel for the money. Nice and clean. Only problem is it’s real noisy next to a busy road. Bring earplugs.

Great reasonably priced place to stay. It has a microwave, refrig, tv, and desk. The Tv could be bigger, but it is ok. The front desk service was awesome. The place was very clean. The breakfast has plenty of various hot food, juices, etc coffee. Definitely would stay here again.

Clean room. Nicely appointed. Comfortable bed. Attentive desk clerk. Helpful and kind. Breakfast room nicely stocked and clean. Thank you.Walkability: Downtown Madras out the door. I walked for dinner and any other items I wanted.

Nice room with an updated feel. We both felt safe and were glad we were staying here. Super clean, with all the basic amenities you’d expect.My favorite thing was checking in. The desk clerk was a great combination of professionalism, helpfulness, and was just nice. She also handled check in in record time.Just what you want after driving all day.We arrived after 9pm so we didn’t explore the area much and didn’t see much besides a gas station mini mart (closed) within close walking distance to explore anyway.The Main Street nearby did seem to have some occasional semi truck traffic which was minor and not a problem for us but could be heard a little from inside our room. I doubt it would bother anyone too much and is the only real con I noticed. Lots of pros no real cons. We’d stay again.

This is a sad hotel, made ok by the kindness of the staff working it. Our first room had no hot water and the woman at the front desk was extremely helpful and moved us to a different room so we could shower. Breakfast the next morning was very picked over and even though it was about to close, the woman working the breakfast area offered to make us more hot food. I hope the owners/managers appreciate the value of their staff!

Excellent hotel ! Very reasonable pricing, friendly staff (had a good conversation with the man at the front desk) clean rooms.. ect. We did however get into our room a few hours later than check in time.. but they also had a shortage of staff available. And they were up front about it the whole time. So it’s understandable, we weren’t in a hurry. When we got to the room there was absolutely no sign of of a hasty cleaning either, it looked nice and fresh. Would stay here again!

We are actually very impressed. All of the minimum expectations were met, such as clean sheets, hot shower and stain-free carpet, drapes and bedspreads, but the beds were also firm and reasonably comfortable, and the customer service from Heather at the front desk was over-the-top phenomenal. She deserves a $10/hour raise!! The outdoor hot tub and pool were clean, private and enjoyable. Full continental breakfast included biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage and waffles. Coffee was actually decent!! Would 100% stay here again!
