Every time me and my husband see Laura working at Starbucks we get excited with her loving, friendly attitude, hardworking spirit, communicative, and generous hospitality making sure we are satisfied with our drinks before we take off. Her station is always clean always stocked up with everything that is needed to keep Starbucks running fast. When they’re other customers in line she communicates with them letting them know how many drinks she has left before helping them. She always cleans up before helping the next customers that’s in line to restart and give them the same service we always receive.

It is pretty much the only game in town now for the one & done grocery shopping. I go to Grocery Outlet, Bi-Mart, and the Outpost whenever possible. Quite frequently dairy products go bad long before expiration, or they're bad when purchased because the refrigeration is either inadequate or items are being returned to the shelves that have been left out. I have watched the employees who do the shopping for delivery drop apples 16 inches into a plastic bag resting on a metal surface. During my most recent trip to Safeway I watched a guy, who was clearly the manager, come rushing through where customers were lined up at checkout to turn off the cashier's light and TELL him to come outside and help with carts in the parking lot after his next person in line, as the checkout lines got longer. Meanwhile, I could still see two employees restocking shelves...slowly. The manager didn't make eye contact with the employee or the customers. This is the kind of disconnect that pushes the morale of workers lower on a daily basis. So they get the dissatisfaction from the customers and the bitter demands of burnt out managers. Yet, most of the time the cashiers at Safeway will be the friendliest individual you could hope to encounter while shopping. Having dealt with customer service on a number of occasions, I think the responsibility for the failures locally fall largely on the corporate level. They are masters at dumping problems in the lap of local managers with little to no warning or explanation. At the corporate level we are a small rural location that fails to have the numbers to warrant much attention on their part, and it shows.

What happened to Madras Safeway? The aisles are always crowded with stockers. I shop in the morning at least 2 hours after they open. Why aren't you ready for customers? There are displays all over blocking access to things. Most times I spend more time in line to checkout than I do shopping!! The men's room smells bad. No paper towels in there this morning and the handicap entrance/exit button hasn't worked for months. Check dates on products I bought bacon that had expired 2 weeks ago. Overall a frustrating shopping experience most times I shop there
