The hotel was perfectly located, newly painted and decorated, cute and comfortable. I was traveling alone and felt safe walking morning and night in the dark along the Main Street and beach. Very accessible and easy check-in/out. I will definitely stay again.

A surfer motel with Italian quality bedding and towels. Kind staff who pay attention to detail. An electric kettle in the room for tea and coffee and a mini fridge. Good lighting. It’s not beachfront. The building is a bit rough around the edges but it’s being updated. Overall excellent vibe and a block from the beach. Oh yeah, and there’s a record player!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. The room was very clean and had all we needed for our vacation. The hotel staff was very attentive during our time there. I would highly recommend this property!

This place was a find! A minute from the beach with a great bed and plenty of space in the room to spread your belongings. We will be back!!

Location, location, location! Me and the wife spent an impromptu night here. Check-in was super easy! It’s a relaxed stay close to the beach and nightlife in Manzanita. Is it the four seasons? No, but I dare say you can probably have a far better time here. There’s a Mexican place next-door, a pizza place across the street, a deli and grocery store around the corner and the beach is about a five minute walk. The room was comfortable and quiet. 100% will be back.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We just stayed at The Spinn Motel in Manzanita and I can honestly say it’s the best value I’ve seen in all of Oregon. Our room was huge, spotless, and had everything we needed. The location couldn’t be better — only a block from the main street and just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and a fantastic coffee shop, yet totally peaceful and quiet at night.
This was our first trip to Manzanita, and we completely lost ourselves wandering the artisan shops. When we realized we were running late, we texted the motel and they extended our checkout without hassle. Check-in and checkout by text was so easy, especially since we barely had service coming from Canada. We loved our stay so much we actually booked one of their sister properties in Long Beach on our way home. Can’t recommend The Spinn enough!

Terrible customer service. We rented a pet-free room for a relative who suffers from pet allergies. We were told at check-in that since there had been a change in ownership (Adrift Properties), there no longer were pet-free rooms and they had a strict 72 hour cancellation policy. They eventually agreed that if we needed to cancel they would not charge us. On a Saturday in August in this busy resort town the odds of finding other accommodations were slim to none. The rooms had been recently renovated so we gave it a try, although there was dog hair evident. The front desk handed us cleaning supplies to touch up the room, which we did, and we set up our own air filter. After two nights the cumulative effect was too much and our relative could no longer tolerate the room. Even though we checked out early so the room was available to rent, we were charged for that night. I reached out to Adrift Properties and was told they have a strict 72 hour cancellation policy. Apparently it does not take into consideration their guests' health and safety. It also does not consider that we booked a pet-free room which they did not supply. I live in Manzanita and would like to be able to recommend this business. I cannot.

Terrible Customer Service!!!
We booked a pet-free room for a family member and were told at check-in that the new owners (Adrift Properties) no longer provided pet-free rooms. It was too late to make other accommodations. There was pet hair in the room. We were handed cleaning supplies and told we could touch it up. Even with running a filter we brought from home, after two nights our kid could no longer tolerate it, so we checked out a day early. We were charged for the third night anyway due to their inflexible cancellation policy that does not take into consideration the health and safety of their guests. We reached out and tried to work with customer service, to no avail. I cannot recommend The Spinn, which is too bad since I live in Manzanita and like to support businesses in the community.

First time at The Spinn and loved it. Great location on the main drag, just steps to the beach, cafe's, restaurants, shops right out your door. They're renovating with a more funky-modern look, comfy, dog-friendly. Will definitely stay again

We stayed here on 9/12 while on a bicycle trip. The inn is right in the heart of Manzanita which makes it ideal for access to anything in town and to the beach. When we arrived there was no one in the office and it took a few minutes to rouse someone to check in. The room was fine, fairly neat and clean with space for us to keep our bikes in the room. The room was a bit pricey given the time of the year and overall quality but I guess that's to be expected in a resort town.

Great location. Wish I could say more. I was called earlier in the day asking for me to pay for pets. We didn't travel with pets, and I let the gentleman know it was just 2 adults and one child. He said there would be a charge for my child and then quickly took that back. Not sure if he was joking or what...Went about my day. We arrived after staff hours and was greeted with the most horrible smell (room 5). It was a mixture of fish & sewage. Went to put our perishables in the fridge and that was the ultimate oder source. It was like rotten fish. I'm quite allergic to seafood, so this was not ideal in any aspect.
I had booked through air bnb and so I messaged the owner through the app. No response. Called and left a voice mail. No response. I ended up using the ring bell at the front door. The housekeeper was across the street and came right over. (He's the only reason this review is getting any stars) He quickly tried to solve our problem by removing the fridge & giving us room spray-and said he would also message the manager.
We walked to the local grocery store down the street and by the time we came back we weren't convinced that the spray did any thing. It was now sewage, rotten fish, & cinnamon. We waited for a few hours for the manager to respond before spending the next few hours trying to find a place to stay. Ended up at a motel 6 about an hour away (only thing available in a 2 hour radius) and paid $350 on top of what we spent at this facility.
No follow up from the manager. Pretty disappointed. Take note and DO NOT stay here.

I was a little hesitant to stay here based on some of the reviews, but we were making last minute reservations and as a summer weekend the options in Manzanita were slim.
Turns out my worries were for nothing. This is a really nice little motel in an unbeatable location. Our room had a kitchenette with a living room and, most importantly, no odors whatsoever. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable (although one of my few nitpicks is that I didn’t find the pillows comfortable). Even though check-in time is listed as 4:00, we arrived at 2:30 and were able to check-in right away.
Maybe if you’re expecting the Hilton you might be disappointed, but as a motel it’s top notch. I do have a theory about those who complained about foul odors. The motel lists some of their rooms as “pet friendly”, I suspect reviews that complain about odor stayed in one of those rooms. We stayed in Room 8, I highly recommend it.
