Basic motel room, TINY shower!!!Stayed 4 nights, room was never cleaned, garbage was not removed. Sheets and towels were not changed. If this is normal operations, I would not return.

Love this place! Definitely the best place to stay in Maupin. Peaceful, comfortable, Great service! What more can you ask for?Nearby activities: One of the best rafting companies in Maupin is just across the parking lot!Noteworthy details: Big park for the kids. Playground on the property, ball fields down the block. Skate park down the block.

Have stayed at this motel multiple times since they have been under new management. The rooms are very quiet and clean. I have noticed the property is very well maintained. Our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Lola and Aaron were very helpful and professional when checking in. Always my number one go to place to stay when visiting Maupin. The rates are great and very convenient for rafting or visiting downtown Maupin.

Exactly as advertised. Clean quiet and comfortable but not fancy rooms in good condition. Very reasonable price. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place too thers

Great cute little place to stop off for a night or two. Very friendly people, recently updated rooms, and near the highway so it's super easy to get to. Our air conditioners didn't work which was a bummer but the weather was nice so it didn't bug us too much.

While I stayed at the Deschutes motel in Maupin Oregon I noticed their under new management, very nice people and have already did a few updates and cleaned up the place. And plan on doing more updates inthe future. Reasonably priced and clean rooms. Definitely worth the stay I highly recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel needs a complete remodel. Floor was nasty, I wouldnt take off my shoes. Beds were so worn down you could feel the springs. The lock on the door and windows didn’t work, so I slept with one eye open . The AC was so incredibly loud, every time it kicked on it woke you up. Seriously considered sleeping in my car. We paid for 2 night, snd forfeited the second night . One of the worst places I’ve stayed !

Accommodations were okay, but the customer service is very lacking! They are the only game in town so I guess they think customer service doesn't matter! I had a couple guys from my crew staying here while on a job near by. They found that they would not need a second night, they tried to check in with the office and had not luck it was closed and no one answered the phone. I finally got a reply to my email after sending a second email. The reply was not very nice, very rude. I would not recommend this establishment for the lack of customer service or being able to even reach them.

I called and made arrangements to stay at the Deshutes Motel when I booked a trip for rafting in Maupin. She said they would charge my credit card when we arrived. I called the day of arrival to let them know we would be late and what we needed to do. I identified myself when I called, she said they would leave the key on the bed with the door unlocked. I forgot to ask the room number. I called back immediately, identified myself again and she replied, We don't have a room for you. I tried to explain that I had called the day I booked the rafting trip and she didn't care. If I could give this establishment a negative rating, I would give them a very negative number.

Good clean and friendlyUPDATE:4/11/2021This place has been sold and is no longer a place I would consider staying after staying there the last decade while visiting friends who live near by.. It’s dirty and unkempt,the floor was sticky and felt I couldn’t touch anything before cleaning and sanitizing, very disappointed.
