10/10, highly recommend! Rafting trip I'll never forget. I had the opportunity to do a half day rafting trip and had an absolute blast with my colleagues. Ian was our rafting guide and I can't imagine anyone better. Ian led our group through some awesome rapids and led us through some awesome tricks (surfing the river, riding the bull, & more). Besides being a fantastic leader, Ian had tons of hilarious stories of rafting that made the time fly by. I cannot recommend Imperial River Co. enough, I will absolutely bring my family here for my next rafting trip.

I went for a day trip for white water rafting with PSU. It was an absolute amazing experience! All the surrounding nature was beautiful and the location was well set up. All the employees were nice and helpful. The rafting guides deserve a lot of credit and help make it such a great experience. My groups guide was Charlie and he GREAT! He was knowledgeable, professional, funny, and extremely friendly. The other two guides with us on the trip(I cant remember their names) were also funny and helpful. You can tell the workers enjoy their jobs and are treated well by the company. Also the lunch provided in the day trip was delicious!
Overall, it was a great experience and I would love to do it again.

Our river rafting guide, Sam, was super cool and nade the trip very memorable for us. He seems like a very cools kid, and I can tell that his momma raised him right. Sge shoukd be very proud :)

We had the pleasure of a half-day rafting excursion with Sam and Holly as our guides, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Our group included several first-time rafters who were a bit nervous, but Sam and Holly immediately put everyone at ease with their calm confidence and excellent communication. They were clearly experienced and always in control, navigating each rapid with skill and precision. It was the perfect blend of fun and safety. We highly recommend this company—and especially Sam and Holly—for anyone looking to enjoy an unforgettable adventure on the Deschutes!

Absolutely WOW!! We had the best stay with Imperial this past weekend. From check in to check out everyone we met was so incredibly kind and genuine. Our room was sparkling clean and the continental breakfast was great. HUGE shoutout to our Raft Guide, Brian. He was fun, safe, and truly knew what he was doing to get us all giggling and soaking wet. Jamey at the front desk was so kind, it felt like I was talking to an old friend. Jamey at the bar made the atmosphere safe, fun, and some awesome drinks! I truly cannot rave about Imperial enough. We cannot wait to come back next summer and every summer after that. Thank you for one of the best weekends of the year! ❤️

We didn't stay in the lodge, but the RV park which was great. All new everything..Electric, Water, sanitary disposal was great.
The grounds of the lodge and restaurant and bar are gorgeous. All right by on the beautiful Deschutes!

Clean rooms with good air conditioning! Some of our party had loud neighbors who were part of a bachelor party, but I guess that’s to be expected. The biggest surprise was the restaurant. Everyone in our party of 10 had great things to say about the good. Very large portions, so sharing might be smart! Kind servers. Beautiful setting for the middle of nowhere! And we played volleyball. This is a great place for a family adventure!

You step onto the Deschutes not knowing what to expect. The sun leans low. The water pulls forward with purpose. The rapids, those crisp, roaring punctuation marks, start writing the kind of afternoon you’ll replay in your head for years.
Then Alex, our guide, takes the mic.
With the charm of a seasoned showman and the precision of a scientist, he turned a whitewater rafting adventure into something unforgettable. His wit is sharper than a dry martini. His knowledge of the river and the volcanic bones beneath it is the kind of insight that makes you feel smarter just for listening. He doesn’t just steer the raft. He steers you through time, weaving in the geologic history of the canyon walls while pointing out an osprey nest perched high above, hatchlings inside, chirping beneath the wind.

We didn’t stay at the hotel but we went rafting with them. Charlie was our guide and he was amazing. As soon as we got there they were so friendly. We did a full day trip. The guy driving the van to pick up the raft and us would stop and take video and pictures as we were coming to a rapid. Then he just sent them to me no charge. The water was amazing and rapids were so fun. The entire staff was fabulous. This is the rafting company we will use whenever we get the chance to go.

Stayed for one night recently and had a thoughouly nice time.
We had the birdwatching room which was cute as anything.
All the staff we met were friendly and helpful.
Nice breakfast in the morning
Would definately stay here again if in the area.
