OK for what it is, but if you can live without hookups and are OK with pit toilets then the BLM campsites a short way down the river are in a much more natural and scenic setting IMHO. Not to mention that they're a lot less expensive.

Great camping spot right by river. We stayed in February and it was really quiet.

This place is great to camp if you are on a full day rafting trip. The lunch stop is right here and the kids love to get off and have their friends hang at the camper. Maupin has a good thing here. It is well taken care of, actually some improvements since the last time I was here. They do a good job kudos to the city and the staff.

Just a small little park that we stopped at to stretch our legs. It was pretty busy.It looks like a popular and out for the river.

Nice camping experience. Good shower and toilet facilities. Great location for rafting experiences on the Deschutes river. We did tent camping and experience could have been improved if there were power hookups out here. We made do!

A beautiful place for a lazy picnic or afternoon fishing and enjoying the rafters float by. Always clean bathrooms, showers are also available for a small fee. A gateway to the charming town of Maupin, Oregon. Family and pet

Lovely setting next to the Deschutes River. Park managers are friendly and so helpful. Lodge next door has a yummy restaurant and bar where you can set outside and enjoy the scenery. Our Pug Merle enjoyed the lush green grass and was also allowed to enjoy the view from the restaurant’s outdoor seating area. Great experience!
