Honest As the Day is Long: We had an air pressure sensor light come on and stopped in, honestly not expecting a lot. We'd just visited a local waterfall. The owner, whose father-in-law owned it before him, offered to check and add air. He refused any money. I felt bad that I couldn't fill up because my car requires premium, but he insisted and wished us a safe trip. I definitely wouldn't hesitate to get my car fixed or serviced there even though it's an out of the way location.

Thanks for taking care of my wife and her friend, going the extra mile to get them a tire brought in when you didn't have one in stock,and not gouging her for it,saved their vacation . I appreciate your service and your honesty.

Most helpful people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. I hit a rock and destroyed my tire. We were camping in Maupin. They didn't have a replacement but they did go out of their way to find a replacement in Madras, and had it on my rim waiting for me to come in the next morning. They had us back on our way to explore the area in no time flat. 100 stars!

When our car auto locked with our keys and both phones and our coats inside. They helped us out by calling the lockout people and letting us inside their office to stay warm. Excellent service amazing town.

Great gas station i remember my family and I had a funeral to go to and stopped here over the sunmer. They gave us some peaches and there probably the best peaches ive ever had. Absolutely love this place!

Rod Woodside is the best. He keeps Maupin going. Without Rod this town would be lost. He is the go to guy for just about anything you might need. Truly the glue that hold this town together.

Driving from Vancouver, WA to Redmond, WA via 84 and 197 has lots of scenery but few gas stops once you hit 197. If you do a search on Google Maps for nearby gas stations, the search results aren't Shell, 76, Mobil or Chevron. This one came up as search return hit number 2. I thought the name was odd for a gas station but better to not be stuck in the middle of nowhere which had already happened to me earlier this week. (Thanks, Oregon potholes!) Just driving through Maupin is a trip. Like so many other small towns I've seen so far in the state of OR, they're like time capsules unto themselves. Isolated and existing much as they have over the years without succumbing to big box corporate mundanity. If you drive too fast, you might miss this tiny service station. I loved looking at their two pumps enough to take a pic along with the sticker art nearby. :) The guy who pumped the gas was super nice and mellow. $39 for a regular fill-up for my rental Corolla.
