El Rancho Market is a nice store with nice workers. It is a fun place and a really nice store. The butcher section is very helpful for family meals and expanding a Hispanic recipe library. Their tacos are great and well priced, probably the favorite in McMinnville. The marinated chicken is delicious and perfectly seasoned for tacos, and the carni asada is very good. Their Chicken Combo, available Friday through Sunday, comes with rice, beans, salsa, and tortillas and can feed three people. The market also sells wonderful beef liver, which is reasonably priced. It is recommended to try salsas, Mexican Crema, chips, and a pretty good breakfast burrito. A challenge is that they mostly speak Spanish, with little to no English, which can make communication and knowing what you are buying somewhat difficult and frustrating for non-native speakers. However, people manage and plan on returning.
Cruising my way through town , I wanted authentic Mexican food . And this market was amazing, nothing like authentic beans !! These days can beans are used. Unsure if the canned beans have been rinsed out .. but this spot was yummy

The menudo is excellent, as is the birria. The meat department is very good, and if you like flan, try theirs.
