I love Home Goods and it is such a great spot having a Marshalls and Ross right next to each other. I really wish I could say I had a good experience here. I come to Home Goods alot but usually go to the Beaverton location. When I first came in I was greeted nicely. Not long into my shopping trip Dee who I belief is part of management became very overbearing
I dont think a woman like myself would be someone they need to watch for stealing but Dee was always right near me and quite frankly breathing down my neck! I started paying attention to her while I shopped and without getting into too much she was NOT very nice to her employees. I wish I had spoken up for them but after what happened at check out you may understand why I didnt feel comfortable
At check out I could barely get a word in. Dee kept bothering me about signing up for a credit card. As an older woman I worry about stores trying to take advantage of people like me and that is exactly how this felt. She would not take no for an answer and kept pushing it even after I said no many times. I really felt like crying
This whole experience was awful because of this one employee. I will not be coming back and I plan to contact corporate. I wanted to share this so other customers can be careful do not let Dee or any one pressure you like this! It is not OK

Selection here sucks, same as the manager who doesn’t wear a badge and only holds a folder. Some Hispanic kids were speaking Spanish and talking about whose parents are picking them up from the store, and the manager approaches them only to ask “are we shopping?” Like ok…. Btw this happened Tuesday November 18, at 7:40pm. Anyways, if she keeps following you around to check on you after you answered “we’re just looking around” then that’s discriminatory behavior, hope this doesn’t happen again.

I’ve been frequenting this location for about a year with usually no complaints aside from how pushy the cashiers are about the in-store credit card. Today on the other hand, I couldn’t shrug off the cashier proceeding to explain the credit card after I politely declined, then asked if I wanted to donate to two separate charities, and again after politely declining she rudely said “well do you at least want to round up the 4 cents?” I finally folded and rounded up since clearly she was not taking no for an answer. I try to be as polite as possible at all times, but using a judgmental tone to meet your metrics is not the way to go and left a sour taste in my mouth after telling her no so many times.

The holidays are coming snd I'm making lists, I always find things I wanted and usually end up with things I didn't know they had or I didn't know I wanted until I saw it here. I spend most of my time in the kitchen, foods, spices, and candy sections.
The store is clean, easy to move around and finding help is always simple.
Now the holidays is good here there very good at keeping up with the seasonal change.

This place starts off with a small parking area that is both handicap and wheelchair accessible. There is extra parking just 25 feet away. The store is packed with everyday items like socks, clothing , dinnerware etc... They also have unusual items for eg. African wood sculpture, huge wall pictures, european home decor items. The isles are small barely 2 carts wide a little inconvenient but well worth it. Prices are competitive on the higher end. The staff is nice and helpful with a smile. There was so much merchandise I had to go back. Good atmosphere that is clean and fragrant at certain sections. Overall 4 stars.
