I love that Homeward Bound is a NO KILL shelter. I've both adopted my pets from there and brought them a sick and Malnourished animal I found. They do amazing work and are very kind. Please donate to them if you can, so they can continue saving the lives of the animals they receive!! They're always in need of dog, cat food and volunteers to help. Anything helps them and it all adds up

Homeward Bound Pets has taken care of our pets on multiple occasions! They have always been kind and helpful to us, and they have treated our pets with great care and concern. We are so grateful to have them close by! Highly recommend! Thank you!

The staff and volunteers are passionate and work hard. This is a tough line of work taking care of animals who have been tossed away.

If you want to be yelled at and disrespected by the lady at the front desk go to Homeward bound. Everyone was appalled by her rude, degrading attitude. Obviously her job does not make her happy.

Called couple days ahead to come look at a dog. Once we got there and we were interested that our pets got along, we started the short but yet super long process of them just not being organized. So they knew we were coming but set no paperwork aside and ready. Totally understand if we just stopped by to look and then buy. Then they couldn't get ahold of the owner so we could get the paperwork for the pet or even do the purchase cause the owner took the card reader with her. The answer of, you can come back in a couple hours to get the dog if you want was totally not going to work since we had to travel over an hour just to get there.

These people and the humane society are HEROS! We adopted two kitties. A 7 year old Orange Tabby, and a 1.5 year old siamese. Still getting used to their new home and family. Always a pleasure to visit. Every animal is well loved and taken care of. One of our other cats at home, also came from Homeward Bound. He is 10 now (Grey and white kitty in photo). We got him when he was 6 months old.

We do alot of foster and rescue and always use Homeward Bound, even for our personal pets, I have never had an issue with any communication, fees are extremely reasonable and we always have a great experience. I recommend everyone to Homeward Bound, especially with my animal buisness I tell multiple people weekly about how amazing this company is.Tonight tho I went to schedule an appointment for our recent surrender and like usual I text the number for scheduling and was met by some not so friendly responses... I was definitely taken back as I have been scheduling this was thru text for 2yrs or so, they also always text or call me if someone cancels so I can bring in, it's always fantastic so I can get the rescues fixed before they go to their new homes. The response I got way snappy, short and said "yeah we don't call for cancellations and you can go schedule your own dog now"I guess this person's name is Marge and from talking to others she lacks customer service skills.I'll still recommend Homeward Bound as I feel you do amazing work for the community but I truly hope Marge humbles herself and remembers she's speaking with humans who like Homeward Bound love and care for animals and deserve respect, especially when first meeting her and if she is the first person someone meets at your company she may need to brush up on her customer service skills.
