I’ve been going here since I was 12, I am now 20 and I have never seen the pharmacy get this bad. Usually they are always on top of it whenever I’ve called and requested a speedy fill on my meds. Recently it has taken over 4-5 days for them to have my prescription refilled. Even when my order would come in on a Friday they would have it ready by Monday afternoon. In the past they were short staffed and they definitely over worked the staff at the front counter but they never failed to have meds filled in a reasonable timely manor. Now it just sucks I’ve always had to deal with lines but now having to worry about my mood stabilizer and anxiety medication not being filled when I need them is honestly terrifying. I go into complete withdrawals without my mood stabilizer and it intensifies my anxiety, it’s sucks that I have to call the pharmacy while having an anxiety attack just for someone to even care.

Really terrific people, but it is woefully understaffed. It's typical to wait 30 to 35 minutes in line. There's one person up front but 3 in back so I don't know about the distribution of labor, but management is clearly not doing their job. Oh well, safeway convinced me to use an online pharmacy moving forward...

I’ve had some good experiences here but lately it’s been rough. I called in to check on one prescription that I hadn’t heard about for days and was met with hostility and talked down to by Cathy. I’ve been to a lot of Safeway pharmacy’s but I’ve never been treated like that so it’s very disappointing.

Pharmacist I spoke too was very rude and not helpful. I felt belittled when speaking with her. Didn’t want to help me at all.

Safeway Pharmacy is a great place to get prescriptions from, it's kinda 1 stop shopping, if your away from home you simply tell the Pharmacy where you will be and the Safeway store there will fill your prescriptions until you return home, I once was very sick and the Safeway pharmacist filled a weeks worth of pills for me because at the time I didnt know how (thank you Phil)

I’ve gotten my prescriptions here for quite awhile. I’ve not had issues that other reviewers posted. I do wish they had chairs and maybe a number system, but otherwise everyone has been very kind and doing the best they can.

This safeway pharmacy is a joke and being run by the elderly! Incompetent elderly! Watch out for mistakes and having to call in multiple time to get a prescription refilled. Pharmacist took it upon herself to change my refill to a more costly one. THAT'S BALL'S for ya!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY!

My husband and I went to Safeway today to get covid vaccines. Their website says walk-ins arealways welcome. We filled out our paperwork and when we went to turn it in, we were told they didn't do walk-ins on Fridays. It would have been nice to know. I guess they just make their own rules whenever it suits them. Funny thing is there were appointments available that afternoon. Bad customer service. We went to Albertsons and got our shots very quickly. Won't go back to Safeway.
