I’ve gotten my prescriptions here for quite awhile. I’ve not had issues that other reviewers posted. I do wish they had chairs and maybe a number system, but otherwise everyone has been very kind and doing the best they can.

This safeway pharmacy is a joke and being run by the elderly! Incompetent elderly! Watch out for mistakes and having to call in multiple time to get a prescription refilled. Pharmacist took it upon herself to change my refill to a more costly one. THAT'S BALL'S for ya!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY!

My husband and I went to Safeway today to get covid vaccines. Their website says walk-ins arealways welcome. We filled out our paperwork and when we went to turn it in, we were told they didn't do walk-ins on Fridays. It would have been nice to know. I guess they just make their own rules whenever it suits them. Funny thing is there were appointments available that afternoon. Bad customer service. We went to Albertsons and got our shots very quickly. Won't go back to Safeway.

I have never been to this pharmacy without having to stand in line for at LEAST a half hour. They are extremely understaffed and the staff they do have has no sense of urgency. I have suggested that they put chairs out for the elderly or injured. Expect to spend time in line!

Check your receipts carefully! I was overcharged by about $8.00 today on things that I had coupons for loaded on my app. Added them to the app yesterday.???

In the past month or so we threw away 2 nasty heads of lettuce, a5lb bag of potatoes that we purchased Wednesday! Produce has been awful! Yesterday I bought strawberries, they also went in the trash.
Furthermore, for the past two months when we tried to use our rewards we’re told that your computers are down, we end up losing the rewards,other people have told us the same thing, so is this a ‘thing’?
I’ve shopped Safeway for years,very disappointed,maybe time to shop elsewhere?

Do not get your prescriptions from here. Today I tried to call ahead so they could start my prescription before I got there. I called 3 times and couldn't get through to the pharmacy. I finally talked to a safeway worker that wasn't through the pharmacy and they told me they are too busy to answer phone calls. Well I'm sorry but every other pharmacy takes calls even when they are busy, that's no excuse. (When I got there I saw people standing behind computers with no joke 20 people in line) So I get there and wait in line for 30 minutes and then they tell me it's not ready and it will be an hour. I wouldn't have had to wait an hour if they would have answered my phone and talked to me for 30 seconds to tell them I'm coming to get it today. I've had many other issues with this location, and I've finally had enough. Never coming back.

My doctor sent in a new prescription for me; I broke four ribs. I called to make sure my son could pick it up for me and all I heard was "rude" (tone of voice). I can't figure out why, if it's kind of an emergency to get some pain relief on board, why it might take two hours to fill a prescription? Is that necessary? I know there is absolutely no need to have a tone of voice that tells you "you interrupting my day?" or "why are you even calling me right now; don't you know that I'm busy?" or we can't stop what we are doing to help you sooner than anyone else?". I know it's covid season (flu), and everyone is all uptight because they have to wear a mask to keep from getting covid (flu) but if you're sick, you should be home. Don't you dare come to the pharmacy if you're a carrier!

The team we have at safeway is one in a million. It’s rare to find a good crew of people in a retail environment and this store I can honestly say is full of some very exceptional people! I am thankful and TRUELY blessed to have such a great team to work with. This is a store you WANT to work at! You play and work as a team player … it helps everyone and Lowers stress and helps keep people from wanting to work anywhere else. Very honest , great customer service , clean and organized. We’re not perfect but ya know … it’s a wonderful thing to just simply be “ great”…xoxo
