They had very tasteful selections of vinyl in all genres, and made use of the space very well. Owner is extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Plus he's a punker, what else can you ask for?!

Bought a used record online several states away, they had great communication throughout the entire process. The shipping was quick and vinyl arrived safely. The condition of the vinyl was better than they described online too, it was a great purchase! I had been looking for this vinyl for months in good condition and reasonable price; Vortex Records beat all expectations.

I was driving along minding my own business when my vinyl detector went off!
EVERY music connoisseur knows vinyl is the most sought after of musical experiences. Most times finding the vinyl you covet can be an issue!
Vortex had just what I had been looking for and at a price that I couldn’t match anywhere else!
Definitely the coolest record shop in the Pacific Northwest!

We love our local record store! Owner and all employees we’ve encountered have always been super kind and super helpful. If we can’t find what we are looking for they will see if it’s available for order and most often, it is. Love doing business here. Love the shop setup, great music always playing, nice selection and fair pricing for a small town record store.

I can say with confidence I have never been spoken to with such disrespect from an employee at any establishment let alone the owner of a business. He spoke to my sister and I in a demeaning, patronizing, childlike tone that completely appalled us. Unprofessional and quite honestly embarrassing. Don’t come here if you are a woman or non-white, spend your money elsewhere.

Quickly becoming my favorite record store. Not a huge selection by any means, but quite well curated. I always find several obscure hidden gems every visit. The owner and crew are always super helpful and friendly – definitely a shop run by music nerds for music nerds.
