I gave 2 stars because I have had my hair cut there before and was happy. However, I made an online appointment and was asked for credit card info to hold it, then got an email that denied the appt saying they are not doing haircuts. Why have an online booking system if the appt is just going to be denied? I wouldn't have minded as much if they had not asked for my credit card. Kinda shady, I'll be watching my cc carefully.

First time in and felt like it's by appointment only. I walked in everyone saw me there and absolutely no hello how can I help you? Nothing. So I sat there for 15 minutes and still no acknowledgement that I was there. However one lady was busy doing laundry and on her phone. I've always wanted to try this place but realized It's better to go somewhere else with more of a welcoming environment.

I went to Candace to get low lights, high lights and a tone and root melt. I showed pictures and explained what I like/don't like about my current hair. She was friendly enough. But my hair turned out nothing like I wanted. She left color smudged on my face. She didn't tone or do the root melt. She pulled the highlights all the way through the ends, which broke my hair off. And just put a redish brown on all the rest of my hair, which completely washed out after the first wash. I ended up going to get my hair done properly somewhere else. I am super disappointed. I had specifically said I don't like warm tones. I had rebooked before leaving until I got home and noticed she missed some greys and left the color on my cheek. Color placement was good, just not colored the color I wanted. I won't be going back.

Noel was awesome!!! I scheduled a consult 1st, among 4 others. I have difficult hair, curly, wavy & tons of frizz. I've followed only a handful of stylists over 40 years cuz I'm really nervous about anyone with scissors getting close to my head. I moved from Gresham to Mac 5 yrs ago & had been going back there for my hair needs. I decided it just wasn't feasible anymore so began my search closer to home. After our 1st meeting I booked an appt. She cut my hair dry to make sure the layers were good cuz when it's cut wet it's a lot more difficult to see how it's going to turn out. She also did highlights that turned out very well. She is a "specialist @ curly hair. Am very happy to have a new stylist!!

I had a consult with Noel at this appointment. I liked her approach better than others I had consults with. My hair is difficult cuz it's curly/wavy. She said she'd cut it dry so she could better gauge the cut. Made an appointment that day. It was going to be weeks away. No sooner had I gotten home I had a text she had an opening w/i the next few days.
