Been their a couple of times. The people are so helpful and nice. I asked for help finding a specific item , and they were great. My daughter needed help finding a foundation for her skin type, and they found a perfect match.

Yesterday my daughter and her girlfriend went to this ulta(they've been in there a few times) a lady approached them and said they are not allowed back because the day before they vandalized the store. My daughter and her girlfriend were both working in newberg on the day this woman is accusing this happened. My daughter tried to explain herself but the woman was extremely demeaning and rude.i tried to call to talk with someone but no one answered I will be calling again.

I went into Ulta on black Friday. I had never been to one of their stores before. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The store is much bigger than I thought and so brightly lit. It's definitely an experience. I also got some great deals. Their sales are awesome. I was happy and surprised to see e.l.f. brand and nyx products that are harder to find. I will definitely return.

I went into the Mcminnville store to pick up a couple items. While I was there, I was approached by a male associate who offered assistance. I said I was fine and then watched him approach every other person in the store and offer assistance and in all cases was able to get them what they needed. After hearing him help others, I decoded to ask for some makeup suggestions. He asked me a couple of questions about what kind of coverage I liked, if I wore it every day and how long I spent putting on makeup and then he went straight to the section and picked up the color that matched my skin tone. He applied a bit to the back of my hand and had me hold it up to my face to verify the match. Then he applied a bit to my face and had me look at it to check the match. Which was perfect! Then he took me over to the beauty bar to apply it to my face. He took the time to show me how to apply it and also helped me find blush and concealer. I was so impressed with the service and the fact that he made me feel special! When I was checking out, I found out that he was the manager- Shayne. Way to go- I will always return to your store!

Never work here sooo much drama and managers will just throw you into work without really helping. The reviews are spot on..they genuinely need help. so sorry to anyone that experienced the bad customer service Assistant manager Rachel is passive aggressive and rude and the employees follow any drama

The store in McMinnville has really gone downhill. One day the employees were fighting with each other and they didn’t stop when myself and other customers needed to pay, so unprofessional. The next time I went the employees were smoking outside the entry door, gross… at least wear a smoking glove, no thanks I don’t need your assistance ? .*an employee suggested tree hut was comparable to drunk elephant…. really wrong.

Walked around like a lost puppy for over 15 minutes until someone even approached me. It was old dude asked if I needed help, and before I could even answer some old bat was who he was talking to next. Not even a glimmer of help. I usually feel very welcome in stores like this, but not here. I was looking for something specific and wanted to inform the worker who asked, but he quickly skurried of to help the rude woman who interrupted us? I started to get annoyed and just grabbed Tarte (which seems great) but I've never tried it before. Unfortunately I grabbed Foundation and concealer in too light of a color. I also grabbed several other items adding over $150. I do not plan to ever return to this location. I also felt so unwelcome plus I wasn't asked my Ulta number, they gave my points to the rude woman next to me at the check out. Ridiculous.

I was so excited to get an Ulta in McMinnville… as I can now get my eyebrows done here instead of driving all the way to Salem or Keizer. But it’s been nothing but issues since they lost their first eyebrow stylist…. Now I can’t book on weekends… and they don’t take any appointments past like 4pm on weekdays. Well not knowing they didn’t have a stylist on the weekend I booked appointment online said the stylist was available, and I went in for the appointment was told now they don’t work on the weekends. “Not even sure how I got on the books.” The manager gave my a free eyebrow wax. At this point I was a little annoyed but I use to work retail so I understood. I work office hours so it’s rare for me to be off during the week or off before 4pm, but I happened to be off one Friday due to an event that I needed my eyebrows done desperately. I booked for their first appointment (10am) I show up exactly on time to find out. The stylist is late, so they said I can wait 30 minutes. Which I did, I walked around, shopped, never even left the store and at 10:40 stylist shows up and takes the 10:30 appointment, now causing me to wait till 11am frustrated and confused, I let it go because stuff like this happens due to miscommunication. I was a little bothered as this was right after the weekend booking incident. And today is the next time I need my eyebrows done since last time i waited an hour after my original appointment time. I booked for today as I got lucky enough to be off today (a weekday) due to coming back from a trip a day early, to be called and told the stylist isn’t able to make it in today and they need to cancel my appointment. Its very frustrating at these incidents are back to back from each other with in a Span of 1-2 months. And I get stuff comes up but for it to be an issue back to back to back. It’s frustrating, this was supposed to be quicker and easier for me as now it’s in my home town, but I think I’ll take the 45 minute to an hour drive to the Keizer Ulta instead. The Keizer Ulta is absolutely amazing! I have been going there for 3-4 years, and not one, not a single time have I ever had an issue like this not even so much as an appointment cancellation. Highly recommend making the drive to the Keizer Ulta!

The reviews about poor customer service at this Ulta are spot on and I can say from experience it starts at the top here. I’ve been shopping at Ulta for years and their managers have always been helpful and pleasant and oftentimes a delight to have help from. Not so at this one.

My wife went to have her hair cut today at the McMinnville location. The one that butchered I mean did hair cut is named Sophie. Please be careful going here and to this person as it left my wife in tears. After telling the supposed assistant manager, Rachel of being unhappy that again supposed assistant manager, had the audacity to ask her for a tip when she was cashing her out. Now Rachel acts like she has authority but I’m pretty confident she does not as she wouldn’t even write her name on a piece of paper but gave me everyone else’s told me that I need to contact the GM Shayne on Thursday to see about a refund. $47 hair cut that looks like Stevie Wonder did it is what they do here! Again be careful going to Sophie the hair butcher of hair! If anybody would like pictures of this haircut, please just contact me and I would be happy to share. Keep in mind this is coming from the husband, whose wife came home in tears. Normally I wouldn’t say anything, but this is absolutely the worst haircut I have ever seen it’s chopped up uneven and just awful , and again the word butchered is only way I can describe it.. so thank you to Rachel and Sophie at Ulta Mcminnville location.

Expensive but was able to find better-quality makeup. I hardly go there now and will buy said makeup on the brand site instead of through Ulta.Employees are rude and some of the managers make fun of their employees especially those who have mental disorders.They will push people into getting credit cards, especially during the holidays and if you tell them you can't afford it, they do not care and still push for you to get it to fill their quota. They will even do this to their employees.If you do not meet their beauty standards as an employee, they will let you go and state that they do not have enough "hours"If you go in with a backpack or large purse, they will assume you are stealing and will follow you around.If you spend up to 30 minutes in the store, they will follow you around and then complain about you to everyone who works there.They do not like children going in there.They never clean the makeup off the floors, shelves or products.They don't have inclusiveness, especially their front doors for the disabled!

The employees are always friendly and helpful. However their salon is NOT trained effectively to cut curly hair. I have curly (3A-3B) hair. I went in for a haircut about 3 months ago and after about the first month-2 months I noticed the layers were cut unevenly. As it grew out it was becoming increasingly obvious that my hair had been cut too short on one side. There's approximately a one inch difference between the right side of my hair and the left side. I won't be coming back anytime soon, when I get my hair cut I expect it to be done right!

I've done quite a few buy online, pickup in store orders which is so convenient and I love it. The only thing I don't care for is when you go to the counter to pickup your items, the manager will go through all the items in your bag to make sure everything is there (which I do appreciate) BUT that doesn't mean they should be announcing out loud that I just bought breast cream. Just give me the bag and let me go through everything.

I’ve never had a bad experience here. One time I accidentally purchased an item on the wrong shelf. (Totally my fault) They let me return the product immediately with no problems. Although bringing the product back before leaving the parking lot probably contributed to that. Thank you Ulta! I will always come back to this amazing location.
