I rented the car at Alamo Rogue Valley International Airport for about 10 days last December 29 thru Jan 8th for my trip to Southern California. Although I booked it thru a third party company ( hotwire) The price iI got was the best deal! When I came in to pick up the premium SUV it was just what I was expecting and very pleased with the vehicle they gave me. AJ was incredibly helpful, efficient and very professional in his manners. the rental took probably 10 minutes at the most. I couldn’t be more happier with the process. As I came back from my trip I returned the car and Tess helped me and she processed my return quickly and my deposit came back as promised. Wow! I thought this is by far the best rental experience I’ve had at at Medford airport( Alamo)Then after going home, I realized I left something in the car which must have been dropped in the slot between the drivers or passenger seat.. I just knew it there so when I called them, they said they have it and Jenny offered to fedex it to ny home address. I am just awed by the kind of customer service they offer. These are the kind of employees that value outstanding service to their customers. I greatly appreciate your awesomeness and professionalism. Thanks to Alamo Staff Medford Oregon. A+++

I've alway used Alamo at the Medford airport and usually have no issues until recently. I rented a late model toyota camry and after a round of golf unfortunately locked my keys in the trunk. [side note: some brainiac at alamo decided to issue both sets of keys to their renters and you can't separate them. So if you lose one, you lose both. Real smart.] Unfortunately the Camry does not have an external trunk release. When I used the FOB to open the trunk, it did not unlock the car so you can see where this is going.I reached out to Alamo and they issued a 3rd party service truck who was able to get into the car, but without the FOB the car assumed it was being stolen so the Alarm blared and the electronic button trunk release was inactivated. The only option was to try access the trunk from the back seat. Unfortunately, the only way to release the seat is from inside the trunk. The serviceman attempted to gain access to the trunk in various ways and as I was on the phone most of this time, I do not know exactly what he tried, but he eventually gave up and I was left in a dark empty parking lot with no options. Eventually, around mid-night, I made my way to the Medford Airport and regaled the person at the Alamo desk of my trials. Of course, they had no keys for this car. They also refused to rent me another vehicle. I went to Avis and paid $400 for another car (for 1 day). I had to fly home without my golf clubs and my wallet, being locked in the trunk. Alamo had the car towed to a Toyota dealership to have the trunk opened. A few weeks later I was able to reclaim my clubs and wallet, but the $200 golf travel bag that was in the back seat had mysteriously disappeared. Fast forward a few weeks and I receive notification that I am being charged over $800 for repairs to the backseat of the car. Damage that was apparenly inflicted by the serviceman who attempted to gain access to the trunk. Despite my informing many Alamo officials that whatever was done to the back seat was not my doing, they still proceeded to send the bill to a collection agency and inform me that I will never be allowed to rent from Alamo (including Enterprise/National) again. Now that is some customer service. So at the end of all this, Alamo cost me over $1400 for something that could be easily avoided by keeping one key behind the desk. Absolutely the worst car rental experience of my life.

Made a reservation on priceline for an economy car that came with accident insurance. Get to alamo and am told that the insurance from priceline is void there. Told me i had to buy alamo insurance. So I did. Then they tell me it was over $200. I dropped off the car ,which was a mini van, on time. There wasn't anyone at the desk so I just put the keys in their drop box. Ended up getting a late fee charged to me for over $100. Tried to dispute but alamo must be greedy. Im now getting charged almost $400 by these crooks. Never again will I rent from them

Had a reservation for 2 cars and the attendant wouldn't let us pick them up. Priceline let us reserve two cars and the attendant told us we could only reserve one and offered no solutions besides calling priceline to cancel the other. Very disappointing and unhelpful.

I booked the rental car for 1PM and waited for almost 2 hours to get it. They kept telling me the car was being cleaned and washed. For two hours? I'll never rent through Alamo again.

Alamo @ Medford was the worst rental experience ever, no people in queue however, still had to wait for an hour. Employees kept convincing us to change the car because of unavailability and even after our agreement they couldn't arrange what they said was available and after an hour of waiting they turn Employee did lie about manager not being there but the manager was inside. Good part was that manager tried her best to handle the situation and the employees went an extra mile to help us know about the place. Even after this trouble and waiting for the car for 1 hr we finally got a car which kept on complaining about the oil change.*** Don't fall for the comment they have underneath, I tried sending them an email but they never revert. Hence, revising my rating to 1 star as the deserve, initial rating was 3****

Consumers beware you have to have a major credit card or a flight itinerary to pick up a car. Was passed down the line to get a car.

Interesting point is that upon my review on google they left a note to send the details on cc email however, you know what they never even acknowledge the email and you will have no response from them. Stay away form them ***** Lisa looks like you have not read the review well, as mentioned email was sent twice however no response from you care email, please don't be fool people by leaving a comment like you do care about customers *****

We flew to Medford Oregon to visit my wife's folks and arrived in the evening to find nobody at the Alamo kiosk we rented our car from. We were met by a nice lady from an adjoining rental agency that told us all the cars were being serviced or cleaned so were offered an alternative vehicle. The vehicle was newer and larger so we took it instead however as we began driving it check engine lights illuminated and the vehicle had some serious issues or required service. I checked fluids and got safely to our location, but didn't care Drive it much due to the issues. We returned it and reported the issues. The manager Ashley called and left a message on our phone to make an attempt at making the experience right, but after repeatedly attempting to call her back/ text her back it became apparent they really didn't care. Bad experience, next time we will rent elsewhere. Bob and Rae Robertson Apple Valley Utah

The counter service was very kind, but we had to wait over a half hour for our car, even then they didn’t provide the car we ask for.
