Viola at the front checkout completely ruined my shopping trip (Ms. I've been in charge of the pet department so no we havent had them that long) I'msorry you have been in your position for so long no reason to agrue with me . I may never spend money here again.

Big Lots is a favorite of mine, you can find some excellent deals. Their selection of furniture is nice. I always find something in the pet department that my Topaz loves.

Horrible experience. Order a couch and purchased a couch on the biglots credit card to get the 6month interest free. 4 months passed by and the couch never came in but they had called me and said it did. When I showed up to pick up couch, I told it was a mistake and the couch was not in. So at that point I decided to purchase a couch that was in stock. The furniture customer service lady "Heather" was dishonest because she was suppose to do a return transaction of the couch that never came in. I ended up getting a couch that was a $104.00 cheaper. Upon doing the transaction she didn't know how to do it properly or she is a dishonest employee and pocketed the money because the entire transaction never reflected on my credit card at all. They won't fix it and I ended up getting all these extra fees added on due to the 6 months interest free didn't reflect to the date of returning a couch never came in to buying a couch that was instock and $104.00 cheaper. I have called several times and the store manager avoided this situation and will not return calls or deal with the mistakes that were made by them. Very poor customer service. I recommend saving all receipts until you see it reflected on the credit card. I do not recommend they're credit card either. I will be filing a legal complaint.

Ok. I’ve ALWAYS loved Big Lots since I was a kid. Best deals on books. This past Christmas I went in, I found the last minute stuff I needed. Like the plates, napkins, table cloths all themed. I saw this little jem alone in the middle of the corner. With maybe a light up bush. Said $38.99 on it. But all Christmas stuff was also 20% off. It was too cute to leave there!!! There was no box, no instructions but I put it in my cart. I asked the lady at the front desk to plug it in. See if it even worked. She said she couldn’t find any outlets up there. But 30 day return policy. I took it home.Best Christmas find ever!!It didn’t work when I plugged it in. Also said battery operated. I found the same lamppost amazon $150, wal mart $140.I took the base off, trying to find the battery, my fiancé said “did u see there was a switch up here?” I did, but thought it was a clamp. Was an actual switch. Put the base back together and it worked!! It will be used lovingly for many years to come/as long as it lasts. Sometimes the Christmas spirit itself drives you to find the lost/left behind gifts!I don’t know how to add the video to this post.

Not the greatest in presentation but I always forget what unique items they have and some prices are great... Couldn't find Christmas dishes anywhere on the 23rd... Yet they had it all at a great price. Ended up buying more then I intended
