I made a reservation a month in advance. I realized my pick up day was Labor Day. I called the week prior to confirm and remind them it’s been booked for Labor Day as their system still allowed it. They confirmed that this was correct and they’d be there for me to pick my truck up. I was there three times for the pickup and nobody was present to assist me. Customer service is a joke and they only have the office number to contact this location. Corporate is now looking for a location that is with in 100 miles of me to get me a different truck and having no luck. I have made reservations for a journey across the country with hotels and a moving company on both ends that will have to charge me a cancellation fee due to this location not standing by their word. I will never use this company again. Shame on this location.

Had a bad experience last year with a truck with no a.c nor would the seat belt alarm go off while having seatbelts ON. Was told when I book again that they would apply a discount and so when I called today they didn't want to honor the discount. Bad business especially with a repeat customer that would had used them every year.

DO NOT RENT FROM BUDGET IT WILL BE THE WORST NIGHTMARE YOUVE HADMy truck radiator broke two hours into my drive. The car Dolly did not have enough length to reach the truck for the lights to connect. When I brought this issue up they said it was not needed. The car dolly's straps were also broken, I had to turn the metal pieces by hand. My blinker light was also broken and every single cup holder was broken. The roadside service for budget is a complete joke as well. They said someone was coming in an hour. I waited 2 hours, no one came. I called them and they told me someone forgot to call out the tow truck in the first place. So I had to get a hotel which I had to pay for. When they finally towed my truck the next day, the driver said she would be 45 minutes behind me as I drove my car the rest of the way. She was actually 1.5 hours behind me because she stopped to get lunch in Albany on the way to Portland. Because of this my movers arrived two hours before she got there, and I was charged for movers that couldn't do anything because she still wasn't here by the time slot I paid for ended. I then had to move all of my stuff out by myself during the night while the truck was in a towed position. Also because of the towed position several pieces of furniture and sentimental items were heavily damaged and/or completely broken.

Dishonest company. They have sent a collections agency after me for damage that was already on the truck that was documented while on premises. Now, I'm getting hounded by collectors blamed for the garbage vehicles they rent.

I was lied to at every step of my rental. I was told there would only be a $100 deposit due at time of pickup and the full amount of my rental would be due upon return of the vehicle, the full amount was charged up front. I was told it was only an authorization, it was a hard charge. I was told I would be able to change the card later, I was unable to change the card to a different one. I was told unlimited miles, I had limited miles. Both the online reservations, as well as the call center told me something different from what was the truth. The lady at the counter tried to assist me, but it seemed to me she had no power to do anything to help. The only thing that was true was the price I was charged, which was still not up front as they added a bunch of charges and I had to debate those charges before I signed anything. My advice to anybody is: READ EVERY SINGLE THING PRINTED AND HANDED TO YOU BEFORE YOU SIGN, AND ASK PLENTY OF QUESTIONS.

I never write Google reviews for anything, good or bad, but this experience put me over the edge. Would give negative stars if this were an option. Rented a cargo van for a long-distance move from them and got a call three hours before I was supposed to pick up the van that they didn't have a vehicle for me and would be cancelling my reservation. It was an absolute nightmare finding an alternate truck on short notice, ended up being hours of extra driving and worrying we wouldn't be able to make the move on time. The real kicker though came when reconciling my bank statements, noticed a $75 no-show charge from Budget. No-show for a reservation they cancelled the morning of. Rarely in my life have I seen such blatant unprofessionalism. Never again will I try doing business with Budget, and I advise anyone reading to please, if you value your sanity, just rent a U-haul.

Great service from the front counter. Terrible truck. Drove it up to 55mph and the steering wheel was shaking bad. Tried to take it back. They close at 2 every day. Says they close at 6 on this app. Trying to return this morning but they don’t open until 9. I’ll update when it’s sorted out.

Prepaid while booking on the phone, Then was charged again when I arrived to pick up my rental car, (not what I ordered! Attitude and unprofessional, All phone agents are idiots, disconnect YOU! Promise to credit you account, then credit the wrong amount!!!!! NIGHTMARE!!!! NEVER AGAIN........Enterprise might be more $$$, but never had a problem with the 20 plus years, I was a client! BE WARNED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They rented m a 16' truck that was "unsafe to drive on the freeway" knowing I was driving over 800 miles on a rainy weekend! The desk person filled out the form and had pre-circled all the dings and dents on the form - there were so many I didn't think it was necessary to go out and inspect it myself. I signed and started driving. Cab was disgustingly dirty, wheels were a bit out of alignment. I didn't think it was worth hassling since it was the only truck they had. I got to my location and realized the pull ramp in back was stuck on bent metal. Called the breakdown line, tow truck came out, couldn't fix the ramp. I let him know about the alignment and checked the front tire - BALD!! He said it was unsafe to drive! 800 miles in the rain!!! I COULD HAVE DIED! DO NOT RENT HERE!!

As we were doing the vehicle walk around, I pointed out a melted area on the plastic trailer wheel well. The employee acted as though it wasn't a big deal, but we noted it on the form. During our move the wheel bearing ended up failing on the trailer, causing the tire to bend outward on the freeway and begin dragging and billowing smoke. Needless to say it's not ideal to end up stuck halfway off the road on the freeway at night with cars flying by, not knowing if your trailer is going to catch fire and then spread to your car which is sitting inches away. 3 hours later we finally unloaded our car and drove it the rest of the way ourselves and left the trailer with a tow truck. To add to the wonderful experience, when we paid for the truck at the counter the total had $115 in unexpected special tax which we asked about and were told, "honestly I couldn't tell you, all the trucks have that". Seems like something you'd want to include in the online quote since that's what we're using to build our moving budget! Also they charge $25 for additional drivers, not sure but don't recall seeing either of these charges before at other moving truck rental companies. The initial cost was slightly lower than the other major moving company I usually rent with and so I went with the cheaper one, but after the hidden fees it wasn't really much cheaper and after nearly having a major accident on the freeway, that seems like it couldve been prevented, I don't recommend anyone use them unless it's a last resort.

Very courteous staff that fixes corporate inventory mistakes when you call their 800 number and they reserved us a truck that wasn’t even available. I believe the “angels” that saved our day and our plans for our out of state move we’re Janie and Joey. Thank you guys so much. I will be forever grateful for all that you do.

Our family reserved a truck 2 months in advance to move out of state. We had received emails that everything was good for our rental up until 1 day before our move. Legally we had to be out of our home the very next day. Budget cancelled on us b/c they said their truck we needed broke down and wouldn't be fixed for another 3-4 weeks. And they didn't have any other truck we could use. They left us completely stranded. It was just so disappointing.

Horrible customer service. I was charged $2000 over quoted price and then lied to multiple times about the end price and was basically called a liar when i did not add "safe move" to the contract
