I understand the folks who cut hair are paid for their talent. But when they do not know how to do the haircuts requested ( a current trend haircut), what are you paying for? It now costs more for a haircut than lunch at a restaurant..... they also offer no regular discounts to veterans.

If I could give no stars I would. My hair was almost down to my butt. Ive grown it out for almost 3 years. I showed her how short I wanted it, about 2 inches off. I left with hair just below my shoulders. Measured it, almost 5 inches was taken off. She kept pausing the cut to check people in. And didn’t say anything, she’d just walk away. I have very thick hair, every haircut I’ve had they section my hair. She did no sectioning, just cut straight across. she barely wet my hair before using the razor she used to frame my face so it’s rough feeling. I’m super shy and can’t do confrontation, so I didn’t say anything. At that point there was nothing to fix it anyways. Paid and left.

If I could give negative stars I would!!! My boyfriend waited for so long for an absolute train wreck of a haircut!!!! The person cutting his hair was SO bad that the manager had to take over and try and save the cut. But that didn’t work either!!! I am livid and extremely disappointed in not only the hair cut but the costumer service as well. He should not have paid a penny!!!! But still ended up paying $30 for the worst haircut he has ever had!!! Will not EVER return!!! And we will warn EVERYONE we know!!!!!!!!!!

The stylists in the Central Ave place by Walmart are terrible. Several times, I went for a haircut, my hair was usually unsatisfactory, but in Feb 2024 it was so bad, there were many areas not cut, not equal to the rest, not cut at base of my neck etc. In conversation she kept telling me I should take Ivermectin for my cancer. I said it was poison for humans and it is used to de-worm goats and other farm animals. 'All the doctors are saying it', she said. I said 'What doctors?' She quickly took off the bib without finishing the job. I paid, and I thought it was done. It was NOT.
Today I will go to the other salon on Biddle, because there's no other choice for a haircut for me. Maybe they send the inexperienced to the other salons? They are usually good at the Biddle Street one. Attitude is awful.

This was my first time going to a chain barber like Great Clips. I came in with a long mop of grown-out hair and a few pictures for ideas. I told Silver to "Do whatever you think will look good". Boy, am I happy! Even my regular stylist doesn't use this kind of technique and skill. My advice: ask a chef to cook you a dish they think you'll enjoy and you'll get amazing food - ask a barber to give you a haircut they think looks good and you get an amazing haircut.

It's okay, i guess. The first time i went, the lady did my hair perfect and even put comment under my name saying how I liked it cut how many inches to leave on the top as I cut my hair short. But the second time I went, the lady did not know what 4 inches is and chopped my hair off down to about 2 inches. Then said "like that." Is that good. I was shocked and wondered what man told her what inches wete cause she chopped to off way down. But it's not like i could tell her no, that's no good start over . She had already vhopped it down too much, and i can't just glue my hair back on. I really dont know how she thinks 2 inches is 4. Some man has lied to the lady about his inches, and now she must be going by that standered. It's too bad cause now i won't go back there again.
