This is the best pharmacy! I called 13 other pharmacies in Jackson county and no one could help me…. Until I called Black Oak. Not only did they get me my prescription, but they were super nice and extremely knowledgeable. I am now switching to Black Oak Pharmacy :)I just also have to add in they have a really cute gift area too!

Horrible place! They don't answer their phone, they don't answer questions, they don't know what they're doing! Completely unorganized and no customer service. I drove there all the way from Ashland. An hour and drove 30 something miles for nothing!

Black Oak Pharmacy has been providing compounded medication for my dog for years. They have gone above and beyond to get them done in a timely fashion. All the staff and pharmacists have been friendly on the phone and in person. Thank you for helping to keep my dog alive!!

I have dealt with multiple pharmacies in the valley over the last 20 years.I have multiple prescriptions and have found the larger pharmacies have become understaffed and rude.Lines to pick up literally reach to the other side of the store during peak hours.My previous pharmacy would not let me know they were out of my medication until i came in to pick it up, telling me that it would beI recently switched to Black Oak and could not be happier.

I would recommend going anywhere but here. The fist time I called to get my prescription filled it took 3 weeks to get a call back. We lost our home to a fire on Saturday and so first thing Monday I started calling to get my compound cream replaced. No one seems to care at this pharmacy as they don’t answer or return calls. I left multiple messages daily. Finally today, on Thursday, I had to drive there to get answers. No apologies, just got told I should text them. This will be the last time I use this pharmacy. This is not the way you run a business, especially one where people are depending on medications.

After years of great customer care I give 5 stars for 5 decades of great customer experience. Ty Black Oak Pharmacy for the years my children were children. Plus 5Extra stars for the whole pandemic. Staying open was more than most.

As a dentist I contact a lot of different pharmacies. Whenever I call Black Oak I get to talk to a nice person. I can talk with a pharmacist whenever I need to. I just get great help, and my patients have good things to report on their end too. Thanks for being easy to work with and for taking such good care of our valley!

I had a prescription sent to the Compounding Pharmacy and never could reach them via phone. I do not live in Medford or I would have driven there, instead I left 2 messages over a 7 day period. I never received a call back, so my doctor sent my prescription to another compounding pharmacy in Medford and I received a call within 24 hours.

Friendly staff for the most part, however, their compounded medications are through the roof and they don’t notify you just how expensive it is! $98 is what I just paid for a medication that I needed! Insurance needs to cover more medication!

Worst place in the world. I have an underlying condition that may be fatal, I'm very weak. I came to have a simple prescription filled, they filled part and told me to come back the next day. I called but there were no live answers, I live 20 miles away by the way. I went there and they told it wasn't in yet after telling me it would be. They said I'd have to come back every day until they had my medication. Unbelievable, in my condition I'm supposed to do this? There were very rude people.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I was in a great deal of pain in my neck and asked for a neck heating pad. I was presented with a heating pad and bought it. When I bought it the clerk said no refunds. Shocked I asked what if it did not work. She assured me that in that case it would be refunded.I rushed home and plugged it in hoping for some relief. 10 minutes on and it was barely warm. I messed with it for hours without it every getting warm enough.A friend brought me a heating pad that he bought at another store. That one worked.I went in to return the heating pad. They insisted on plugging it in to test it. Once again the highest setting barely got warm. The manager insisted that that is as warm as it is supposed to get and refused to refund my payment. I left without it, and without a refund.Go anywhere is if you expect a business to stand behind what they sell.

Wow, so let me start with I am a nurse and work in a medical office, so I do have an understanding of how the process works, I have been waiting over a month for a medication to be filled, and I understand it is a very expensive "specialty med" and that it will be processed off site, but frankly, I never received any calls from Black oak I just assumed they were doing their job processing the order, I did receive a letter from my insurance a month ago that they had sent Black Oak the needed prior authorization for the medication so I was just waiting to be notified when to come pick up. Today, when I called the pharmacist they hadn't even started the process to get the med filled yet, they had received the script from the Dr, they had just dropped the ball. I understand everyone is short-handed but its been over a month and basically they did absolutely nothing to get the process moving on their end. I live just down the street from this pharmacy, and will never do business with them again.

They're the kind of people that will tell/insist you go home if you're sick (fair) or have family issues (newborn has ended up in the hospital, has had multiple issues, etc), regardless if you beg to stay and state it's all fine and have doctors notes and proof. I had covid and so did my at the time 2 m/o. Two weeks before, they wouldn't let me come in because I ran a fever and wouldn't let me come back for days later. They tell you to go home and take care of things and say "oh the owner is upset because you're insisting on staying". Which was a lie. It's all a facade, as they will ream you if you listen to them I guess. I'd beg to stay, but they would tell me to go home. I would literally ask to stay, but they sent me home. My state issued babysitter had to go to the vet a few days due to their dog eating a toxic substance and couldn't watch my child. My mom had just gotten out of the hospital and couldn't do it. Which they knew. I didn't even go visit my mom at the hospital because I wanted to be punctual. So I stayed. I genuinely care about the patients there and it seems like vice versa. So I wish them and the staff well. Not necessarily the company. It would be different if they were up front and told me it would be a negative mark. But they didn't. They told me to leave. So. ?♀️

Customer service is outstanding. They are timely. I never have trouble requesting medications. Their gift shop section is awesome. Thankful they are my pharmacy and an option for me in southern oregon.
