This gym has gone through a transition the last two years. It is very clean. Today I was excited when I saw they had replaced the cracked and fraying seats and setbacks on the Hoist machines. I feel appreciated as a member when gyms take care of the equipment. Thank you VF!

Was it my timing? I think not. Womens' showers, out of order. Steam room, broke. Sauna, not working. Do we sense a theme here? Also, no directions on most of the machines, stating what muscle(s) is/are worked or directions on how to use. Do they have a LOT of machines? Absolutely! But that doesn't always equate to a good gym.

I've been going to this gym for over twenty years now. It has changed ownership four times in that twenty years. And each time it changes hand the quality of the gym has gone down. Since it's been village fitness they have gotten rid of the hot tub, the swimming pool, the basketball court and totally gotten rid of a section of the gym.the steam room has only worked 2 or 3 months in the two plus years that it has been under Village fitness. And now the suana isn't working. And the cleanliness of the gym showers is pretty nasty. It's not kept very clean. There's black mold on the shower walls and curtains. I've seen the same dirty floors for days at a time. It was was a much better gym twenty years ago when it was 24hr fitness. And anyone who has been going there as long as I have knows that it use to be pack with people. But now that the quality of the gym has gone down so much in the twenty years so has the membership. If I had to guess the membership is probably 1/2 of what it used to be

I've had a membership here for 20 years now. Been some ups and downs, remodeling, change of ownership etc. However, the place is clean, staff is nice and most importantly has the weights and equipment I like.

I know the GM personally which gives me even more reason to rave about Village Fitness! The gym facility has become excellent under new management & all the staff leads are incredibly personable and genuinely care about your experience & success journey while you're there. Additionally, it feels like family & a true place to belong! With Village Fitness, I've been able to get my health back on track! First week of the new year! Not too crowded. Came here to follow a virtual trainers training plan but I was still very much lost in the gym. Trainer Jeremy kept his eye out for me and made me feel welcome and comfortable in the unfamiliar gym. He didn't make me feel embarrassed for not knowing what I was doing and he definitely kept me from injuring myself. I'm this gym is part of the Active and Fit program!

There has been a consistent effort over the last year to improve the gym environment and cleanliness. The equipment maintenance has improved considerably and the level of appearance and cleanliness is visible. The staff is approachable and willing to listen and implement.

An absolute joke of a business. Closed half the time they're supposed to be open. Didn't give me my free month for the referral I sent because the rate I pay monthly is too low. And then when they noticed my monthly was lower because I have been going there so long after looking my account up from my referral I sent, they raised my fing monthly fee. Actually hate this place but this town doesn't have many options.

So I've been coming to this particular gym for about 10 years now. For the past four years it's been iffy but let me tell u they finally got it right. From New equipment and new staff. Unfortunately they did get rid of thw pool and the hot tub but they have upgraded to a amazing turf area. The sauna and the steam room dnt break down anymore. Just super impressed with the gym

My favorite club in Medford. Nice new equipment and people who care to make sure your workouts matter. It's more than a place to do cardio and weights. It's a place to learn how to make the most of those precious few moments we have. Joan and Zeke have really made a difference and turned the club around in the past 6 months. The club is definitely evolving but in the right direction.
